TeachingProcedures:StepI:Leadin

TheteachergreetsthestudentsandusestheSivoWhiteboardinMultimediaTeachingtoshowsomephotostakenbythisyear'sPulitzerPrizewinners,whichleadsstudentstothinkaboutthePulitzerPrizes,and,further,tothinkaboutwhoPulitzeris

Purpose:tocreateagoodlearningatmosphereforgrammarlearningassistedbySivoWhiteboardinMultimediaTeaching.StudentscanthinkaboutthetypeofpictureaboutthePulitzerPrizebasedonthepicturesshown.Inturn,itiscommonforstudentstostartthinkingaboutwhoPulitzeris,whichhelpswiththegrammarlearninginthefollowingparts.Inthisprocess,students'learningisspontaneous.Thistime,theintroductionofthePastPerfectTenseselectedanImaginativescenario,usingpicturesandanimationstostimulatestudents'imaginationandtransformabstractconceptsintoconcreteobjects.DuetothisarticleisrelatedtothePulitzerPrize,althoughstudentsmayknowlittleaboutthePulitzerPrizeindailylife,theycanunderstandthedirectionofPulitzerPrizeawardthroughthepictures,andthenhaveapreliminaryunderstandingofthebackgroundofthetext.

Theteacherdirectsthestudentstofindthepastperfectsentencesinthepassagethathavethesamestructureastheexamplesgiven.ThestudentsareaskedtocomparethesesentencesandfindouttheEnglishstructureofthepastperfecttense,thatis

haddone.Byprovidingsomeexamples,theteacherguidedthestudentstounderstand

thedifferencebetweenthesimplepasttensedidandthepastperfecttensehaddone.

Purpose:tocheckouttheapplicationofthepastperfecttenselearnedinthislesson.Theexerciseatthisstageisdifficultthanthepreviousstage.StudentscanwatchthevideothroughMultimediameansandexpressitbycombiningthegrammarpointstheyactivelyconstruct.
