1Scope

Thispartspecifiestheproductstructure,classifications,models,requirements,testmethods,

inspectionrules,marking,packaging,transportationandstorageofHigh-densitypolyethylene

Silicoreplasticduct(hereinafterreferredtoasSilicoreplasticduct)fortelecommunication

undergroundconduits.

ThispartisapplicabletotheSilicoreplasticductsandfittingswhichusedinunderground

telecommunicationconduitsystems.

3.1Productstructure

TheSilicoreplasticductiscomposedofhighdensitypolyethylene(HDPE)outerlayer,which

mayalsoincludeoutercolorstripeandpermanentsolidsiliconinnerringlayerwiththickness

notlessthan0.1mm(siliconcorelayerforshort),ThecrosssectionisshowninFigure1.

3.2Classification

3.2.1Classifiedbystructure

Theinnerandouterwallsaresmoothsolid-walledsilicoreplasticducts,denotedbyG;

Ribbedsilicoreplasticductswithsmoothouterwallandlongitudinalribbedinnerwall,

denotedbyG1;

Ribbedsilicoreplasticductswithribsontheouterwallandsmoothinnerwall,denotedby

G2;

Ribbedsilicoreplasticductswithribsontheinnerandouterwalls,denotedbyG3;

3.2.2Classifiedbyproductcolor

Theoutersheathisasinglecolorsilicoreplasticductwithoutcolorstripe;

Silicoreplasticductinlaidwithothercolors.

3.3Productmodel

ProdcutmodelshallconformtoYD/T841.1-2016,4.2.Theproductstructureisclassified

accordingto3.2.1ofthispart,andthespecificationisaccordingtotable2ofthispart.

Example1:Thespecificationis32/26,andtheinnerandouterwallsarebothsolid-walled

flexiblesilicoreplasticductmarkedasSYGN32/26.

Example2:Aflexiblesilicoreplasticductswithaspecificationof40/33andribsontheinner

andouterwallsismarkedasSYG3N44/33.

4Requirements

4.1Material

Thehigh-densitypolyethylenematerialforsilicoreplasticductshouldmeettherequirements

ofGB/T1116.

4.2Appearance

Thecolorofthesilicoreplasticductshouldbeuniform;Theinnerandoutersurfacesshould

beregular,uniformandsmooth,freeofdefectssuchascollapse,pits,holes,tearmarksand

magazinepits;Thecrosssectionshouldbebrightandfreeofbubbles,cracks,blisters,

impuritiesandotherdefects;Theinnerandouterlayersofthesilicoreplasticductshould

betightlycombinedwithoutdisengagement

4.3Color

Thecolorofouterlayerandcolorstripeofsilicoreplasticductshallbeselectedfromtable

1;ColormeetstherequirementsofGB/T6995.2

Theoutersheathofthesilicoreplasticductshouldbemarked.Themarkingmethodcanbedivided

intotwotypes:colormarkingandcolorstripemarking.

Whenusingpipecoloridentification,thepipecolorshouldmeettherequirementsofTable

1;

Whenthecolorstripeisusedforidentification,thecolorofthepipeisgenerallyblack,

andthecolorofthecolorstripeshouldmeettherequirementsofTable1(thecolorofthe

colorstripeshouldbedifferentfromthecolorofthepipe).Thecolorstripeisgenerally

co-extrudedwiththepipe,thewidthofthecolorstripeis1mm-6mm,andthedepthfromthe

outersurfaceofthepipeis0.1mm-0.3mm.Thecolorstripecanbeasinglecolorstripeevenly

distributedontheoutercircumference,suchas1×2,1×3,1×4;itcanbetwoparallelcolor

stripesevenlydistributedontheoutercircumference,suchas2×2,2×3;itcanalsobethree

parallelcolorstripesevenlydistributedontheoutercircumference,suchas3×2,3×3;When

paralleltwoorthreecolorstripes,thespacebetweenparallelcolorstripesis1mm-6mm.

4.5Dimensionsandlength

4.5.1TheDimensionsandlengthofthesilicoreplasticductshouldmeettherequirementsof

4.5.2Theex-factorylengthofeachreelofsilicoreplasticductshouldmeettherequirements

ofTable2,anditcanalsobenegotiatedbythesupplierandthedemander,butthereshall

benojointforthesilicoreplasticductinthereel.

5Testmethod

5.1Standardenvironmentforstateadjustingandtest

InaccordancewithYD/T841.1-2008,5.1.

5.2Appearance,colorandmarking

Theappearance,colorandmarkingofsilicoreplasticductsshallbetestedaccordingtothe

provisionsofYD/T841.1-2008,5.2.Markingsizeismeasuredwithverniercaliper.

5.3Dimensionmeasurement

5.3.1Themeanoutsidediameter,wallthickness,lengthandmetererrorofsilicoreplastic

ductsweretestedaccordingtotheregulationsofYD/T841.1-2008,5.3.

5.3.2Theroundnessoftheouterdiameterismeasuredwithaverniercaliperwithanaccuracy

of0.02mm.Takethreespecimensandmeasurethemaximumouterdiameterandminimumouter

diameterofthesamesectionofeachspecimen,thentheout-of-roundnessofthisspecimenis

showninformula(1)

Roundnessoftheouterdiameter=(Dmax-Dmin)/D*100%(1)

Intheformula:

Dmax-Themaximumouterdiameter,theunitismm;

Dmin-Theminimumouterdiameter,theunitismm;

Theaveragevalueofoutofroundnessofthreespecimensistakenasthemeasurement

5.4MechanicalandenvironmentalrequirementsforSilicoreplasticduct

5.4.1Hardnessoftheductoutersurface

Thesilicoreplasticductspecimenwithalengthof100mmistightlysheathedonametalrod

withappropriateouterdiameterandplaceddirectlybelowtheTypeDShorehardness

tester.AccordingtothemethodspecifiedinGB/T2411-2008,theinstantaneoushardnessof

thetestisreadasthemeasurementresult,andthearithmeticmeanvalueistakenasthe

measurementresult.

5.4.8.1Preparationoftestspecimens

Takethreesectionsofductwiththelengthof(250±10)mmasthespecimen,andthetwoends

ofthespecimenshouldbecutflat.

5.4.8.2Testequipment

Theaccuracyoftensionequipmentiswithin±1%ofthedisplayedforcevalue.Thespecial

fixtureshallclamptheductwalluniformlythroughouttheductcircumference.

5.4.8.3Testprocedure

Clampthespecimenonthetensileequipmentandstretchitatthespeedof100mm/minuntil

thespecimenyields.Readtheyieldloadofthetestasthetestresult.Ifthespecimenslips

fromthefixtureorbreaksattheendofthefixture,theexperimentshouldberepeated.

Takethearithmeticmeanofthreeeffectivespecimensasthetestresult.

5.4.9Drophammerimpacttest

InaccordancewithYD/T841.1-2008,5.5.

5.4.10Hydraulicperformancetest

Taketwocompletesilicoreplasticductsspecimenswithlengthnotlessthan400,sealthe

endofthespecimenaccordingtotheA-typesealingmethodspecifiedbyGB/T6111,clampthe

specimentothetestingequipment,slowlyinjectwater,watertemperatureat(20±2)℃,Reach

thespecifiedpressurewithin1minuteandmaintainfor15min,ifthespecimenhasnoobvious

expansion,noleakage,orfracture,itisqualified.

5.4.11Lowtemperaturebendingtest

5.4.11.1InaccordancewithGB/T7424.2-2008,E11B.

5.4.11.2Theradiusofthebarrelis10timestheouterdiameterofthespecimen.

5.4.11.3Bendonceinthepositiveandnegativedirectionsrespectively,andbendtheduct

intoUshapeeachtime.

5.4.11.4Putthespecimeninalowtemperaturebox,keepitat-(20±2)℃for2hours,then

testimmediately,andkeepitinthebentstatefor30secondseachtime.

5.4.11.5Cancelthebendingforceappliedtothespecimenandletthespecimenrecover

naturally.

5.4.11.6Inthebendingstateand30minutesafterrecovery,checkwhethertherearecracks

orobviousstresswhiteningonthesurfaceofthespecimen.

5.4.12Longitudinalreversion

InaccordancewithYD/T841.1-2008,5.14.

5.4.13Measurementofmetererror

Useasteeltapetomeasurethelengthalongthesilicoreplasticductatanappropriatelength,

subtractthelengthdeterminedbythemeternumberfromthemeasuredlength,anddivideby

themeasuredlength,thatisthemetererror.

5.4.14Connectorsealingperformancetest

Taketwocompletesilicoreplasticductsampleswithappropriatelengthsandconnectthemwith

aspecialconnectorforsilicoreplasticductaccordingtothetoolsandmethodsprovidedby

themanufacturer.Oneendissealedwithaductplug,andtheotherendisconnectedtoaspecial

fixtureforwaterinjection.Thetemperatureofwaterisnormal.Thepressureis50kPa,keep

itfor24hours.Ifthetestedconnectordoesnotleak,itisqualified.

5.4.15Connectionforceofductjoint

Taketwocompletesilicoreplasticductwithlengthof(200±5)mm,connectthemwithspecial

connectorofsilicoreplasticductaccordingtothetoolsandmethodsprovidedbythe

manufacturer,clampthesampletothetensiletestingequipmentwithspecialfixture,andthe

tensilespeedis(100±5)mm/minuntiltheductconnectorispulledoutorthesilicoreplastic

ductispulledout,themaximumtensileloadofthetestisreadasthetestresult.Inthis

way,threegroupsoftestsareconducted,andthearithmeticmeanvalueofthethreetestresults

istakenasthetestresult.

5.4.16Environmentalprotectionperformance

InaccordancewithYD/T841.1-2008,5.21.

6Inspectionrules

6.1General

Theproductsshallbeinspectedbyqualitydepartmentofthemanufacturerandbeattachedwith

qualificationlabelsbeforethedelivery.

6.2Classificationofinspection

Thequalityinspectionoftheproductisclassifiedintodeliveryinspectionandtype

inspection.TheinspectionitemsandcorrespondingclassificationsareinTable4.

Agroupisdefinedasproductswithsamebatchofrawmaterials,thesameprocessproduction,

thesamespecification,thesamebatchofdelivery.

Thedeliveryinspectionitemsareclassifiedinto100%inspectionitemsandsamplinginspection

items.Exceptforcolorandapperanceare100%inspectionitems,otherdeliveryinspection

itemsaresamplinginspectionitems.ThesamplingfordimensionstestisaccordingtoGB/T

2828.1-2012,thenormally-test-oncesamplingscheme,andtheinspectionleveltakeslevelII

withAQL4.0.Takesamplesbasedonmanufacturinglength(reel),ThesamplingschemeisinTable

5.

Amongthequalifiedsamplingproducts,enoughsamplesarepickedrandomly,andotherdelivery

inspectionitemsinTable4shallbecarriedout.

6.3.4Criterionofdeliveryinspection

Theproductisunqualifiedifanyitemofthe100%inspectionitemsisfailed.Disqualification

shallberemovedfromtheinspectionlotandnotallowedex-factory.Accordingtothesampling

schemeinTable5,iftherearelessthanorequaltoAcqualifiedsamplesoutofNsamples

inanysamplingitem,thebatchofsamplesshallbejudgedasqualified.Iftherearemore

thanorequaltoReunqualifiedsamples,itwillbejudgedasunqualified.Thegroupof

unqualifiedproductsshallnotallowedex-factory.

6.4Typicalinspection

6.4.1Typicalinspectionitems

SeeTable4.

6.4.2Samplingfortypeinspection

Thetypeinspectionsamplesshallbepickedrandomlyfromtheproductsthatarequalifiedin

thedeliveryinspection.

6.4.3cyclefortypeinspection

Normallythetypeinspectioniscarriedoutonceayear.Theinspectionshallbecarriedout

whenoneofthefollowingcasesoccurs:

a)Newproductororiginalproducttochangetheproductionsiteofthefinalizationoftrial

production;

b)Thestructure,materialorproducingprocesschangealot,mayinfluenceperformanceof

theproduct;

c)Themanufactureresumeproducingafter6monthsorlongerinterval;

d)Theresultsofdeliveryinspectionhaveobviousdifferencesfromtheresultsofthelast

timetypeinspection.

6.4.4Criterionoftypeinspection

Ifallitemsinthetypeinspectionarequalified,thetypeinspectionisqualified.Ifany

oftheinspectionitemsisunqualified,doubleamountofspecimensshallbepickedfromthe

samegroupandtheunqualifieditemshallbecarriedout.Ifallpasstheinspection,thetype

inspectionisqualified,andiftherearestillunqualifieditems,thetypeinspectionis

justifiedasunqualified.

6.4.5Re-inspection

Ifthetypeinspectionisjustifiedasunqualified,themanufacturershallbefoundoutthe

cause.Productidentificationoracceptanceshallbestoppedbeforeacceptablecorrective
