1.发现事实一、什么是事实事实就是某些称为细节的东西,是信息中的细小部分。事实存在于真实故事里——如报纸上报道的那些故事,也存在于传说及人们编撰的故事里。二、怎样发现事实在阅读中,你可以通过设问来寻找事实。问who,其答案是有关人的事实;问what,其答案就是关于事物/事件的事实;问where,其答案就是关于地点的事实;问when,其答案就是关于时间的事实;问howmany或howmuch,其答案就是关于数目或数量的事实。三、选材特点1.题材广泛,内容丰富。所选语篇的主题涵盖了《普通高中英语课程标准(2017年版)》中的三大主题语境和十个主题群。2.材料真实,语言地道。本阅读材料都是来自英语国家的书、报、杂志。在编辑过程中,为保持阅读材料的语言风格及真实性,未对正文内容作任何改动。四、设题特点每篇短文后都有10个问题,它们都是关于事实的。也许你已经知道相关的事实,但你需要用故事里的事实来回答问题。五、阅读提示1.请你带着寻找事实的意图去阅读故事。注意有关人、动物和事物的名称,寻找地点、日期和时间。2.仔细阅读每一个问题,然后在故事里寻找与问题中的某些单词相同的句子。3.请同学们根据自己的阅读水平,每篇短文设定一定的时间进行限时训练,这样才有利于更高效地提高单位时间内的阅读能力。4.
