IEC62769-103-1:2023EN-FRFieldDeviceIntegration(FDI)-Part103-1:ProfilesisaninternationalstandardthatspecifiestheintegrationoffielddevicesinaProfiBusnetwork.Itdefinestheprofilesthatareusedforspecifictypesoffielddevicesandtheirapplications.ProfiBusisawidelyusedindustrialautomationprotocolthatallowscommunicationbetweenfielddevicesandthecontrolsystem.

ProfiBusnetworksaretypicallyorganizedintoprofiles,whicharepredefinedsetsofcommunicationparametersthataretailoredtospecifictypesoffielddevicesandtheirapplications.Eachprofiledefinesthecommunicationrequirements,suchasdatarates,messageformats,andaddressingschemes,forthedevicesthatareintendedtocommunicateoverthatprofile.

Part103-1oftheIEC62769-103-1standardspecifiestheProfiBusprofilesforvarioustypesoffielddevices,includingbutnotlimitedtosensors,actuators,valves,andprocesscontrolequipment.TheseprofilesprovideastandardizedframeworkforintegratingthesedevicesintoProfiBusnetworks,ensuringinteroperabilityandreliabilitybetweenthedevicesandthecontrolsystem.
