I’mveryhonoredtostandhereandgiveyouashortspeech!mytopicisOpportunitiesandChallenges.

First,Iwouldliketoknow,whatdoesyourdestinyofferyou?Happiness,wisdom,astrongbodyorsomethingelse.IfIhadaskedthisquestiontopresidentNixon,hewouldprobablyhadsaid,”Ourdestinyoffersnotthecupofdespair,butthechaliceofopportunity.”

Needlesstosay,oneofthebiggestopportunitiesgiventoChinaisthe20xxOlympicGames.Tillnow,wehaveusedtwoseventhsofthepreparationtime.Howmuchchangeshaveyouseen?Newroads,newsubwaylines,public—exercisingequipmentswithbeautifulcolors,largeblocksofgrassfields,andalsolotsofmoderngymswhichareunderconstruction.

Otherthanthose,thereareevenmoregoodeffectsbroughttousbytheOlympicGamesthatcannotbeseendirectly.

Forexample,moreandmorepeoplewillgettoknowChina.I’msurethemysteriousChineseculturewillattractthemstrongly.Andthegameswillalsodogoodtotheeconomyandenvironment,foritisgainingtheattentionofforeigninvestorsandtheawarenessofenvironmentalprotectionisbeingstrengthened.Whatismore,OlympicGamesgiveauniqueopportunitytoinspireandeducateanewgenerationofChineseyouthwiththeOlympicvaluesandtheOlympicspirit.Nowthatwehaveseensomanyadvances,couldyouevenimagineuslosingtheholdingrights?

Thesocietyisjustlikeaship,andinourdreamsthecaptainiswavinghishandandsaying”Hey!Comehereandtakethehelm!”Howcharminghisvoiceis,butwehaveneverheardofitinourtruelife.Thismorning,however,whenwewakeup,wewillseetheOlympicGameswavingitshand.Afterchewing,mostofuswillhaveatleastoneplanaboutwhattodofortheOlympicGames.Andmineistobea“forter”————thatissomeonewhowillgiveforttoothers.

Attheendofmyspeech,Ihopeallthepreparationwillgowell,andeveryonewillshowtheirabilitytotheworld.Letusseizeopportunitiesandgiveabigsmiletochallenges.

感恩是学会做人的支点,感恩之心是一种美好的感情,是对世间所有人所有事给予自己的帮助表示感激,铭记在心,感恩是我们民族的优良传统,是一个正直的人的起码品德。

感恩的关键在于回报。回报,就是对哺育、培养、教导、指引、帮助、支持乃至救护自己的人心存感激,并通过自己十倍、百倍的付出,用实际行动予以报答。

那么,作为一名中学生,怎样感恩呢?

首先要感恩自己的父母,因为每个人的生命都是父母血脉的延续,父母给了我们全部的爱,让我们享受到了人世间的.亲情和幸福,因此,我们要感谢父母。

大自然是万物赖以生存的基础,人的生命活动一时一刻也离不开它,我们人类的衣食住行等都是从大自然中获得的,因此,我们应该感恩大自然。

老师是我们成长的领路人,是我们的朋友,老师尊重、理解和爱护我们,言传身教,让我们受益终身,老师为我们付出心血和汗水,我们应该感恩老师。

同学是我们学习生活的同伴,同学间互相鼓励,互相帮助,共同战胜困难与挫折,共同品尝学习的成功与快乐,我们应该感谢天天与我们相伴的同学。

学校为我们提供了良好的读书环境,是我们锻炼的场所、施展才华的舞台,我们应该感恩学校。

祖国是我们的根,是我们的源。没有祖国,就没有我们的安栖之所;没有祖国,就没有我们做人的尊严;没有祖国,就没有我们所拥有的一切!我们应该感恩祖国。
