afford通常与can/could/beableto等连用意思是“有足够的(金钱,时间)做……”多用于否定句和疑问句。Eg:1).Wecannotafford(tobuy)anewcar.
2).ThishouseissoexpensivethatIcan’taffordit.3.That’saverylowpriceforsuchagreatproduct!
price意为“价格,价钱”,ataverylowprice意为“以很低的价格”。表示价格的高低要用high或low,不能用cheap或expensive。eg:1).Heboughtabikeataverylowprice.

highatpresent.3).Thishouseisexpensiveatpresent.4).Thiskindofbooksistoocheap.4.Idon’tthinkitwouldbesafetodomyhomeworkonabicycle.
Ithink后边的宾语从句如果为否定句,要把否定词not提到主句中,变成Idon’tthink.Eg:Idon’tthinkyouareright.我认为你是不对的。
