Thepastcontinuoustenseisusedtodescribeanongoingactionoreventthathappenedinthepast.Itisformedusing"was/were"+presentparticiple("-ing"formoftheverb).

Apartfromsharingmemories,wealsocaughtuponeachother'slives.Wetalkedaboutourcurrentschools,hobbies,andfutureplans.Itwasinterestingtoheareveryone'saspirationsandgoals.Somewantedtobecomedoctors,otherswantedtopursuecareersinmusicorart.Itwasinspiringtoseehowmuchpotentialeachofourclassmateshad.
Ihavetoadmit,thereweremomentsofhesitationbeforemeetingeveryoneagain.Iwonderedifwewouldstillhavethingsincommon,orifwewouldfeeldistant.However,thoseworriesquicklyvanishedassoonasweallstartedtalking.Itwaslikenotimehadpassed.Thejoyandfamiliaritywereoverwhelming.
Overall,thereunionwasatrulyspecialoccasion.ItremindedmeoftheimportanceofoldfriendshipsandthesharedexperienceswehadinGrade7.Itmademeappreciatethetimewespenttogetherevenmore.Iamgratefulforthememorieswecreatedandfortheopportunity
