教材分析:
本模块的第一单元是以“生日”作为话题。通过学习课文中的对话,学生学会了如何发出邀请的正确表达。通过学习对话中的句子,学生也学习并掌握了频度副词的用法。
在课堂上,老师通过对比中西方生日的文化的不同,以此培养和提高学生的跨文化交际意识。
学情分析:
通过对生日这个令人感兴趣的话题学习,老师希望能培养学生:1.乐于交友2.学会正确理解生日礼物的意义3.学会理解父母,拥有一颗感恩的心。
教学重点难点
UnitOne的对话内容里,有重要的新的句型结构:
-Wouldyouliketocometomybirthdayparty?
-Yes,I’dliketo.
另外,一些频率副词(如always,never,sometimes,andusually)以及一些和生日有关的词汇(如present,card,andsecret等)的用法也是重点难点。
教学方法和策略
教学方法:Theconversationcangooninsuchmethodsasinteractive,situational,task-based,andactivity-basedapproaches.
教学策略:1.自学策略:在教学中,老师要引导学生注意学习有关生日礼物的简单英语。2.认知策略:授课中,老师以举一反三之例句帮助学生学习和掌握频率副词的用法。
教学反思
1.通过本模块的“生日”话题内容的学习,学生学会了如何对别人发出邀请并掌握一些频率副词的用法。
2.通过设置一些课本内容之外的话题讨论,加深了学生对课本内容的理解,同时也升华了学生的情感内容。如:.WhydoesDaming’smothernevermakeabirthdaycakeforhim(课堂上,老师邀请学生展开联想,大胆给出合适理由,这样一来平日里学习过的如何表达个人观点的英文表达法(Inmyopinion...,Ithink...,MaybeorPerhaps,etc)得到了复习。再比如,WhatpresentsarethemostsuitableforyourfriendsWhatwillyoudoforyourparents’nextbirthdays(这两个话题是促使学生思考生日礼物的意义以及如何表达对父母的感恩。)
3.以家庭作业形式要求学生复习对话内容,让学生学会如何用第三人称转述对话内容。

Purpose:Takingthefourspecialholidaysforexampleisagoodwaytotellthestudentsthateveryoneshouldlearnhowtoexpresstheirlovefortheirparentsandlearnhowtoshowtheirthanksgiving.Whilethestudentsaretalkingaboutthesespecialdays,somenewwordsthatwillbementionedandlearnedshouldbewrittenontheblackboard(suchasabunchofflowers/carnations/shavers/ties)

Purpose:Thesequestionscansupporttheirtalkingandexpandthecontentofthepicture.Somenewwords(celebrate,apapergoldcrownandmakeawishetc)willbegenerated.Theinputofthesenewwordswillbehelpfulforthestudentstounderstandtheconversationmore.
