Hemingwayslifehaswonmanyawards.HewasawardedthebraverymedalduringtheFirstWorldWar;in1953,hewonthePulitzerPrizeforthebookTheOldManandtheSea(1);the1954OldManandtheSeawonHemingwayBellPrizeforLiterature.In2024,HemingwaysTheSunAlsoRisesandFarewelltoArmswereincludedintheBestEnglishNovelsofthe20thCenturybytheAmericanModernLibrary.
