课标分析本模块为外研社高中下学期Book3Module3的内容。题材内容与学习目的:充分认识各种自然灾害的特征和给人类带来的灾害,提高与其并战胜之的决心和信心,努力学习,打好基础,争取为人类发展作出贡献。语言知识目标:掌握与自然灾害有关的词汇;学习过去完成时的被动语态和间接引语;学会给自然灾害下定义;学会描述自然灾害,包括自然灾害爆发的时间、地点、情形、经过、最后的结果、造成的危害、人员财产损失的情况、救灾人员的工作、救灾英雄等。语言技能目标:听--识别所学生词、词语和含有过去完成时的被动语态和间接引语的句子和段落;听懂其意义并获取信息;听懂对自然灾害进行的描述并获取信息。说--流利说出含有本模块生词、词语和含有过去完成时的被动语态和间接引语的句子;准确运用表示好消息和坏消息的副词传递信息;能对事物下定义;流利说出描述自然灾害的句子和段落。读--理解含有所学生词、词语和含有过去完成时的被动语态和间接引语的句子和段落;读懂其意义并获取信息;理解模块提供的和来自其他资源的对不同自然灾害的介绍并获取信息。写--熟练写出包含所学词汇和含有过去完成时的被动语态和间接引语的句子和段落;熟练完成模块所要求的各种书面练习;对不同地区、不同程度的自然灾害进行对比。表达与展示--结合多媒体、挂图等教学用具,利用报刊、杂志等资源,运用学到的语法知识、下定义的功能及本模块词汇短语等语言结构,对自然灾害的爆发时间、地点、情形、经过等进行描述。学习策略:认知策略--通过听力理解词汇,通过词汇学习加深对听的文章的理解,促进对声音的加工和对意义的加工;通过阅读理解词汇,通过词汇学习加深对文章意义的理解,促进识别和释义两种微技能的互动;学会下定义,提高归纳能力。调控策略--根据课本提供的定义,培养理解词义的思维能力,通过问题锻炼略读和查读技能,学习课本中对自然灾害细节的描写,培养对事件过程的观察能力。交际策略--在日常生活中运用副词表达好消息和坏消息。资源策略--通过报刊、杂志、多媒体、电视和网络等资源了解自然灾害,并向同学作介绍。文化意识:交谈技巧--学会对事物下定义,学会表达好消息和坏消息,以此阐述观点。中外对比--了解世界各地不同地区和不同形式程度的自然灾害。情感态度:了解自然灾害的危害,激发学好科学文化的决心和信息,以实际行动做好与自然灾害作斗争的准备,为人类造福。任务:利用多媒体、音像、挂图、报刊、杂志等资料做一个调查项目,向同学介绍。教材分析本模块为外研社高中下学期Book3Module3的内容。本模块以TheViolenceofNature为话题主要介绍了Tornado,Hurricane和earthquakes这些自然灾害的特征和对人类造成的危害。通过本模块的教学,让学生充分认识各种自然灾害的特征和给人类带来的危害,提高与其斗争并战胜之的决心和信心,努力学习,打好基础,争取为人类发展做出贡献;掌握有关自然灾害的词汇并能够运用本单元出现的单词、句型、语法,借鉴文章的良好组织结构,学会描写灾害发生的时间、地点、情形、经过、最后的结果、造成的危害、人员财产损失的情况、救灾人员的工作以及救灾英雄。在充分利用教材资源的基础上,结合学生的实际情况设计教学活动,旨在帮助学生有效地掌握关键词汇,培养阅读技巧和训练写作的能力,达到综合运用英语的目的。教材教学的重难点:与自然灾害有关的词汇;理解课文了解龙卷风和飓风的特征和危害以及飓风中发生的离奇事件;了解环太平洋地震带上发生过的重大地震,让学生了解自然灾害的破坏性,提高学生防灾减灾的意识,加强在灾害发生时自我保护的意识以及参与抗灾救灾的社会责任感,本模块的学法教学是间接引语和过去完成式的被动。本模块的教学可以分为5个课时,第一课时单词认知,让学生了解与自然灾害有关的词汇,第二课时课文理解和课文重点讲解,通过课文理解了解自然灾害的特征,危害和对人们生活的影响,掌握描写自然发生的句型,第三课时写作,首先借助课本上的听力进一步了解自然灾害和收集描写自然灾害的句型等,然后运用本模块所学描写一次自然灾害。第四课时阅读文化角,了解还太平洋地震带上发生的重大地震情况,并扩展一些避震措施和自救方法,第五课时复习本模块所学知识。这五个课时的课型分别是词汇课、阅读课、写作课、阅读课和复习课。学情分析虽然学生对这些自然灾害有一定的了解,但由于处于平原地区,非自然灾害多发区,所以学生在对自然灾害的感知方面欠缺,生活经验方面也不足。高一下学期,经过一个学期的学习,学生已经基本掌握了教材的安排,也有一定的自主学习能力,但由于本届生源较差,学生在基础知识方面存在很大的漏洞,而本模块不仅词汇量大,而且晦涩难懂,学生掌握起词汇来有一定的难度,课文的理解也是一知半解,运用更是难上加难。高一学生正是处于好奇心强的一个时期,通过图片和视频的嵌入也可以让学生深刻感受自然灾害,并对它的危害有一定的了解,以此呼吁学生们要保护环境,减少自然灾害,减少人类的损失。同时在教学过程中增加遇到自然灾害的自救办法,教会他们逃生的办法,对他们的生活大有裨益。知识的掌握还是需要一遍遍的重复记忆和练习,因此充分的复习和习题巩固是很有必要的。课题:RevisionofBook3Module3--TheViolenceofNature
