一、可数名词的复数形式(重点)

(一)规则变化

1)加s一般情况下加s

2)加es①以s,x,ch,sh结尾的名词,如

:bus-busesbox-boxespeach-peachesbrush-brushes

②大部分以辅音字母+。结尾的名词加s,如:

photo-photosradio-radiospiano-pianoszoo-zoos

hero-heroespotato-potatoesNegro-Negroeshero-heroes

3)以辅音字母+y结尾的,先把y改为i再加es

如:butterfly-butterfliescity-citiesparty-parties

4)以f,fe结尾的词,先把f,fe变为v,再加es如:leaf-leavesknife-knives

巧记初中阶段以f,fe结尾的词,先把f,fe变为v,再加es:

小偷(thief)之妻(wife)生活困难,自己(self)采叶(leaf)做早饭,忽见恶狼(wolf)到眼前,架上

(shelf)取刀(knife)劈两半(half),转眼狼命(life)就玩完。

(二)不规则变化

1)单、复数同形fish-fish(鱼)sheep-sheep(羊)deer-deer(鹿)

Japanese-Japanese(日本人)Chinese-Chinese(中国人)

2)改变词干中的元音字母构成复数

①把a变成eman・men(男人)woman・women(女人)mouse—mice(老鼠,鼠标)
