1.theatomicclocktheatomicclock解析:由“AtomicClocks”部分第三段最后一句“Fromthe‘Macrocosm’,or‘PlanetaryAlignment’,tothe‘Microcosm’,or‘AtomicFrequency’,thecesiumnowmaintainsaccuracywithadegreeoferrortoabout‘one-millionthofasecondperyear’.”

3.what/allyou'vegot。what/allyou'vegot。

4.Syntheticherbicides.Syntheticherbicides.

Theinformationonthisform.tellsyouremployerjusthowmuchmoneyitneedstowithholdfromyourpaycheckforfederalincometax,划线部分就是答案。

W:Nosoonerhadshebegunherpresentationthanthemicrophonebroke.

Q:WhatcanwelearnaboutSally?

gowithsth. gowithsb.

Whichofthefollowingistruefromtheconversation?

M:ThoseweresuchfunnystoriesTomtoldlastnight.Hewaslikeatotallydifferentguy.

W:Yeah,really.Heisnormallysoserious.Whatdoyouthinkbroughtallthatoutofhim?

Q:Whatdoesthewomanimply?

26.reflection

27.B解析:M:Whatwastheweatherlikeduringyourvacation?

W:Notbad,butitwouldhavebeenbetterifithadbeenalittlebitcooler.

Q:Whatwastheweatherlikeduringthewoman'svacation?

由男士所说的Iwouldfeelthatwaytoo(我会和你——样)可知,男士认为女士生气是合情理的,所以C正确。

29.tend

differentiate...from...
