MetricsFrameworkMetricsarealignedtotheKM/Collaborationprogram’sstrategicgoals(whichareinturnalignedtotheenterprise’sstrategicgoals)Twotypesofmetricsareestablished:BehaviorMetrics-measuretheextenttowhichthespecificdesiredbehaviorsarebeingadopted(cantypicallybegeneratedbytheKMsystem)ValueMetrics–measuretheextenttowhichthosebehaviorsaredrivingvaluefortheenterprise(needtobederivedoutsideoftheKMsystem)Metricsshouldbecollectedatmultiplelevelsoftheorganization:TheenterpriseleveltomeasuretheoverallprogressandimpactthattheKM/CollaborationprogramismakingTheindividualcomponentsofthematrixedorganization(e.g.,geographicallocation,businessunit,function,etc.)tomeasuresuccesswithinthatunit,holdunitleadersaccountableforbehavioralchanges,learnfromhowsuccessfulunitsaredoingitsothatcanbeappliedtootherunits,etc.Metricsshouldbereportedonmonthlyanddistributedtothecoreteam,leadersandemployees
