摘要:本研究旨在探讨视觉注意功能与中医体质及年龄相关性的神经机制。采用功能性磁共振技术,对50名健康志愿者的神经活动进行记录。结果显示,在年轻人群体中,阳虚体质与躯体化症状与视觉注意功能有显著相关性表现。在老年人中,阴虚和气虚体质与注意力不集中有显著相关性。因此,本文得出结论,中医体质与年龄因素均对个体的视觉注意功能表现产生显著影响,可能与前额叶、后颞叶和运动区等脑区的神经活动相关。

Abstract:Thisstudyaimstoexploretheneuralmechanismsunderlyingthecorrelationbetweenvisualattentionfunction,TCMconstitutionandage.Functionalmagneticresonanceimagingtechniquewasusedtorecordtheneuralactivityof50healthyvolunteers.Theresultsshowedthatintheyounggroup,Yangdeficiencyconstitutionandsomatizationsymptomsweresignificantlycorrelatedwithvisualattentionfunction.Intheelderlygroup,YindeficiencyandQideficiencyconstitutionweresignificantlycorrelatedwithinattention.Therefore,thisstudyconcludedthatbothTCMconstitutionandagehavesignificanteffectsonvisualattentionfunction,whichmayberelatedtotheneuralactivityinfrontal,temporalandmotorareasofthebrain.

Age-relatedchangesinneuralmechanismsmayalsocontributetothedeclineinvisualattentionfunctionobservedinelderlyindividuals.ThemappingofbrainactivityusingfMRIprovidesvaluableinsightsintotheneuralmechanismsunderlyingvisualattentionfunctionindifferentTCMconstitutionsandagegroups.ThisstudyhighlightstheimportanceofconsideringbothTCMconstitutionandagewheninvestigatingvisualattentionfunction,asthesefactorsmayinteracttoinfluencetheneuralmechanismsofattention.

FutureresearchisneededtoexplorethepotentialtherapeuticapplicationsofTCMinimprovingvisualattentionfunctioninelderlyindividualswithdifferentconstitutionaltypes.Bytargetingtheunderlyingneuralmechanismsofvisualattention,TCMtherapiesmayofferapromisingapproachtopromotinghealthyagingandreducingtheriskofage-relatedcognitivedecline.Overall,thisstudycontributestoagrowingbodyofliteratureontheintersectionofTCMandneuroscience,highlightingthepotentialforanintegrativeapproachtounderstandingandtreatingcognitivedysfunctioninagingpopulationsInadditiontothespecificapplicationsofTCMtherapiesforage-relatedcognitivedecline,thereisabroaderpotentialforTCMtocontributetoalargerconceptualframeworkforunderstandingtheagingprocessitself.Thereisincreasingrecognitionamongscientistsandhealthpractitionersoftheimportanceofbiologicalsystemsbeyondthenervoussysteminregulatingcognitivefunctionandhealthinaging.TCMoffersaholisticapproachtohealththattakesintoaccountthewholebodyandmind,ratherthanisolatingspecificorgansorsystems.

OneareawhereTCMmaybeparticularlyrelevantisintheinteractionbetweencognitivefunctionandimmunefunction.Thereisextensiveevidencetosuggestthattheimmunesystemplaysakeyroleinregulatingbrainfunctionandbehavior,andthatage-relatedchangesinimmunefunctionmaycontributetocognitivedecline.TCMhaslongrecognizedtheimportanceofimmunefunctioninoverallhealthandwellbeing,andhasdevelopedmanytherapiesandherbalremediestosupportimmunefunctionandpreventdisease.

Similarly,TCMmayofferinsightsintotheroleofstressandemotionalregulationincognitiveaging.Thereisampleevidencetosuggestthatchronicstressandnegativeemotionscanhaveasignificantimpactoncognitivefunction,particularlyinolderadults.WhileWesternmedicinehasdevelopedvariouspharmacologicaltherapiestotreatsymptomsofstressandanxiety,TCMoffersarangeofnon-pharmacologicalapproachestomanagingemotionalhealth,includingacupuncture,meditation,andherbalremedies.

Overall,theintegrationofTCMandneuroscienceoffersapromisingavenuefordevelopingamorecomprehensiveunderstandingofcognitiveagingandidentifyingeffectiveinterventionstopromotehealthyaging.Astheglobalpopulationcontinuestoage,theneedforinnovativeapproachestopromotingcognitivehealthwillonlyincrease,andTCMmayplayavaluableroleinmeetingthischallengeInadditiontothepotentialbenefitsforcognitiveaging,TCMmayalsoplayaroleinaddressingotherhealthconcernsthatarecommoninolderadults.Forexample,studieshavesuggestedthatTCMinterventionssuchasacupunctureandherbalremediesmaybeeffectivefortreatingchronicpain,insomnia,andanxiety,amongotherconditions.TheseapproachesmayofferamoreholisticandindividualizedapproachtohealthcarecomparedtotraditionalWesternmedicine,whichoftenreliesheavilyonpharmaceuticalinterventions.

AnotherpotentialbenefitofintegratingTCMandneuroscienceistheopportunitytoinvestigatetheunderlyingmechanismsofTCMinterventions.Forexample,studieshaveshownthatacupuncturemayhaveeffectsonvariousneurotransmitters,suchasserotoninanddopamine,whichareimplicatedinmoodandcognitivefunction.Bystudyingthesemechanisms,researchersmaybeabletodevelopmoretargetedandeffectiveinterventions.

DespitethepotentialbenefitsofintegratingTCMandneuroscience,therearealsochallengestobeaddressed.OnemajorchallengeisthelackofstandardizationandregulationofTCMinterventions,whichmayvarywidelyintermsofquality,dosage,andcomposition.Thismakesitdifficulttocomparestudiesanddrawconclusionsabouttheefficacyandsafetyoftheseinterventions.Additionally,culturalandlinguisticbarriersmayalsoposechallengesincross-culturalcollaborationsandcommunicationbetweenresearchers,clinicians,andpatients.

Overall,theintegrationofTCMandneuroscienceoffersapromisingapproachtoaddressingthecomplexandmultifacetedchallengesofcognitiveagingandotherhealthconcernsinolderadults.Bybringingtogetherdiverseperspectivesandapproaches,researchersandcliniciansmaybeabletodevelopmoreeffectiveandpersonalizedinterventions,whilealsoadvancingourunderstandingoftheunderlyingmechanismsoftheseinterventions.Astheglobalpopulationcontinuestoage,theneedforinnovativesolutionstothesechallengeswillonlyincrease,andTCMmayofferavalua
