9.Bothclasseshavewontwofirstplacessofar.（1）bothclasses两个班 A:both在句中作形容词，意为“两者的，双方的”例如：Iwantboth(the)books.Bothmychildrengotocollege.B:both在句中可作代词，意为“两者，双方，两人”Botharenew.Bothofflowersareverybeautiful.=Theflowersarebothverybeautiful.Youarebothtooyoung.Iinvitedbothofthem.=Iinvitedthemboth.C:both用作副词，注意它在句中的位置，一般它放在行为动词之前，be动词、助动词、情态动词之后。TheybothspeakEnglish.ThetwostudentsarebothfromClass5.D:both…and ……和……都，既……又 例如：BothyouandIwerewrong. HecanspeakbothEnglishandFrench.注意：both…and的否定形式为：neither…nor例如：HecanspeakneitherEnglishnorFrench.
