【学法点拨】单个的现在分词作定语时,常放在被修饰词前;现在分词短语作定语时,则放在被修饰词后。Theoldwomanwasinterruptedbythescreamingchildren.那个老妇人被尖叫的孩子们打断了。Themandrivingthelorrywasdrunk.开卡车的那个人喝醉了。 【误区警示】(1)现在分词(短语)的完成式havingdone一般只用来作状语,不作定语。HavingexperiencedquiteafewearthquakesinHawaiialready,Ididn’ttakemuchnotice.

–ing形式作表语或定语,其作用相当于形容词。-ing形式作表语表示主语的性质、特征和状态;-ing形式作定语用来修饰、限定、说明名词或代词的品质与特征。
