环境污染会给生态系统造成直接的破坏和影响，如沙漠化、森林破坏、也会给生态系统和人类社会造成间接的危害，有时这种间接的环境效应的危害比当时造成的直接危害更大，也更难消释。例如，温室效应、酸雨、和臭氧层破坏就是由大气污染衍生出的环境效应。这种由环境污染衍生的环境效应具有滞后性，往往在污染发生的当时不易被觉察或预料到，然而一旦发生就表示环境污染已经进展到相当严重的地步。当然，环境污染的最直接、最轻易被人所感受的后果是使人类环境的质量下降，影响人类的生活质量、身体健康和生产活动。例如城市的空气污染造成空气污浊，人们的发病率上升等等;水污染使水环境质量恶化，饮用水源的质量普遍下降，要挟人的身体健康等。严重的污染事情不仅带来健康问题，也造成社会问题。随着污染的加剧和人们环境意识的提高，由于污染引起的人群纠纷和冲突逐年增加。

Wemustfacethesituationthatexistsandtakeactionstosolveourenvironmentalproblems.Forinstance,newlawsmustbepassedtoplacestrictcontroloverindustrialpollution,thepublicmustreceivetheeducationaboutthehazardofpollutionandsoon.Wehopethatallthesemeasureswillbeeffectiveandbringbackahealthfulenvironment.

全世界的环境问题在变得越来越严重。随着工农业的进展，汽车制造噪音、排放毒气，山上的树木被砍伐，污水不断被排入河里。另外，无论我们走到哪里，四处可见肆意丢弃的垃圾。整个地球生态平衡正在变更，环境的巨大破坏已带来负面影响，甚至对人类生存带来巨大要挟。

我们务必面对现实，采取行动解决环境问题。例如务必通过新的法律严格操纵工业污染问题，群众务必采纳污染危害的教导等。我们梦想这些措施的有效实施能带给我们一个健康的环境。

人们热爱把现代化比作宏伟的大厦，那么这座凝结着高度精神文明和物质文明的大厦应屹立在怎样的环境之中呢?假设天空烟雾迷漫，大地草木枯败等等，这是人们心中的现代化社会吗?不，不是，这是历史的讥讽，这是人类的悲剧。

人生活在地球上，要生存，要进展，首先就得靠地球，靠有山有水，有森林有草原的大自然。可是有人误以为大自然是取之不尽，用之不竭的宝库，于是毁林而种，竭泽而渔，连连受到自然的处治而不自知。年复一年，森林变成了荒丘，绿洲沦为沙漠，致使世界上每年有20xx公顷农田被沙漠吞噬。这样下去经过若干年，地球上的绿地将全部被沙漠侵占，我们的子孙将无法生存!前些年，农村包产到户后，哄砍山林成风，我国务川县一个乡的近20xx亩杉木林，在一周之内被砍为平地。听到这个消息，我头疼，我愤怒，这样做的农人太愚昧，太自私。还有好多正在干着类似务川的贻害子孙的事情：任滚滚浓烟迷漫天空，让高分贝的噪音刺激人的神经。

对此，我们理应深思。现代化社会使我们生活得更美好，现代科学也已充分透露了环境养护的重要性。每个正直的公民，都应具备这样的历史眼光和忧患意识：要把我国建成一个梦想的现代化强国，务必做到进展经济与养护环境同步，实现经济进展效益与社会效益的统一。

事实也是这样，几年前，大连污染严重，经过一系列的养护措施后，不仅使市容面目美观了，还带来了良好的经济效益，外商投资，中外合作等等，因此让大连成为现代化的大都市。

让我们伸出自己的双手，来养护自己的家乡，来创办自己的家乡吧。
