TheschoolisorganizedbythecollegesoftheUniversityofLondon.ThesummerschoolofferseightdaysofintensiveteachinginGreekandLatin.Therearefourlanguageclasseseachdayaswellaslecturesandadebate,between10:30amand4:30pm.Thecourseisnotresidential(提供住宿的),andthereisnoteachingduringtheweekendof12thto13thJuly.

Thefeeis£85.00.Travelgrants(旅行补助金)areavailableasacontributiontoyourtravelcosts,butmaynotcoverallyourexpenses.Thetravelgrantsarearrangedduringthesummerschool.

Teachingisgenerallyingroupsof12-15peopleandit,asfaraspossible,comprises(包含)ofstudentsofroughlythesamelevelofexperience.Thestyleofteachingisfriendly,butdemanding:alotofworkisexpectedfromstudentsduringtheschool,buttheyusuallyfindthewholeexperiencebothstimulatingandvaluable.Someclassesconcentratechieflyonreading,whileothersofferamixtureofgrammarandtranslationpractice.OurtutorsincludesomeofthemostexperiencedandtalentedteachersofClassicsintheLondonareaandbeyond.
