课堂拓展(避免make的过多滥用)

这是大学英语六级的一个考生的作文。短短几个句子里出现了3个make动词。中国学生在表达使役意义时，都习惯用make+宾语+宾补的句型，完全不顾这种表达式是否符合英语的表达习惯，而忽视了英语中一些原本就存在的表示使役的表达法。例如：a.Hiscriminalrecordmadehimunabletobeadmittedtotheuniversity.b.Hiscriminalrecorddisqualifiedhimfrombeingadmittedtotheuniversity.
