5、ary. The battery is only required to handle transient load peaks. The charger selector switch (001CC) is set to automatic. The charger is operated in the float mode and voltage is maintained constant at float voltage setting.Followingtheinverterpowersthedistributionunit,whiletheinverterswitch(101CC)
6、 is on position on and the bypass switch (102 CC) is on position inverter.TheinverterisoperatedParticularsteadyChargerfloat Theselectorswitch(001CC)issettofloat.Voltageatchargerterminalsis maintained constant at the float voltage setting.Charger recharge/equalize Theselectorswitch(001CC)issettorecha
7、rge/equalize.Voltageatcharger terminals is maintained constant at recharge/equalize voltage setting.Chargermanualmode(withloadVoltageisadjustedmanuallybyusingapotentiometer(locatedonthecharger regulation printed circuit board). This mode overrides the other three modes (automatic, float, recharge/eq
8、ualize). Voltage adjustment range is 0 to 156 V.Theoperatormonitorschargingcurrentbyusinganotherpotentiometer(alsolocated on the charger regulation printed circuit board) and maintains it at a value not exceeding 0.03 C10(Ah).Inverter In case of loss the 110VDC voltage or an internal defect of the i
9、nverter, the power supplyisautomaticallyprovidedthroughatransformerregulatorpoweredfromthe 380V AC switchboard.Inverter In case of the inverter not available or during maintenance, the power supply is manuallyswitchedovertothe380VACswitchboardthoughamanualbypassswitch ParticulartransientLossofACchar
10、gerinputIntheautomaticmode,chargeroperationisasAfterlossofACpowerforaperiodoftimelessthanaswitchsetting(3-6-12min.), the charger is automatically restored to the pre-transient operating mode i.e. float or recharge/equalize. The switch is mounted in the charger enclosure (switch set to 6 After loss o

16、uldthevoltagedropbelow96.3VDCorriseabove121VDCtheinverterwilltrip and a transfer to the standby supply will be initiated.Load variations ontheinverterFor instantaneous load variations of 50% when initial power is between nominal powerand30%ofnominalpoweraslongastheinstantaneouspowerdoesnotexceed the nominal power and since the power supply voltage of the inverter is from 85% to 110% Un, the output voltage comes
