29、么正确选项大多在这两个对立项之间产生。二者必居其一.至于究竟是两者中的哪一个,则需要进一步根据上下文的语境来判断。如:We _16_to play like two mad men.16题的选项分别是A. pretended 假装; B. stopped停止; C. continued 继续;D. decided 决定。后面提到分数已经到16了,说明他们俩从7:9之后仍是在发疯地继续(continued)比赛。所以在B,C这两个对立项中,自然就可以很轻松地把正确答案 C选出来了。(三)同义复现法同义复现是英语中常见的一种现象。为强调某一意思,但又不想重复使用某个词或短语。在完形填空题中,同义词
30、或同义短语的位置多半比较靠近,很容易找到,所以同义复现法是很好的解题技巧。无须过多的推理,只需确定是哪里使用了同义复现,然后从选项中找出与之相符合的一项即可。如: Ed refused to buy a _9_T-shirt or to lose weight.第9题的选项分别是A. clean B. larger C. straight D. darker正确答案B:friend与文中的His big stomach has always ballooned out between his T-shirt and trousers.同义,并且结合上下文Ed的肚子总露在衣服与裤子间,说明他应该
