Since this is the last section of this unit, students have been equipped with the expressions they need.The section focuses on writing skills, which comes after reading and listening practice. Thus, this period can help students use the words and expressions they previou
3、sly learned.The spider gram and the frame given in the textbook provide enough scaffolding. Hence, even though this is the first time for students to try on notice writing, they tend to be well prepared.Teaching Aims:To introduce the definition and features of a notice through an inductive approach.
4、To guide students to write a notice step by step.To provide students with chances to practice words and expressions they learned in this unit.To develop students learner autonomy on writing.Learning Outcomes: By the end of this lesson, students will be able to:Describe the basic definition and key e
5、lements of a notice.Outline the steps of notice writing and write a notice following these steps.Practice certain words and phrases through making sentences with them.Undertake a writing task on their own in an online lesson.Anticipated problems:As this is a pre-recorded online lesson, it is lack of
6、 interaction between teacher and students. Thus, the authenticity and teaching effectiveness may be compromised. Possible solutions:Leave time for students to think and write throughout the lesson. (e.g., book fair, English play, competitions, etc.)Emphasize the benefits of English Week by using s

In this way, motivate students and arouse their interest in writing.Review the words and expressions learned in the previous lessons.Think about the benefits of English Week and get ready for the coming writing task.1minStage 2 Lead-inUse pictures to set up a scene and assign
