1、Module Four:Carnival教案一、授课教师:成都十七中 王佩丽 二、授课班级: 高二、三班三、课题:Module Four Carnival (必修五; Introduction and Vocabulary)五、教材内容分析本模块的主题是狂欢节。通过狂欢节的视频导入本模块的话题-Carnival. 并引入了与此相关的词汇表达,如中外节日的名称。通过了解西方节日的相关活动,饮食,以及服饰,习俗,进而围绕中外节日展开讨论,并从中了解东西文化特点,增强跨文化交际的意识。能运本课所学的相关词汇,表达来描述一个中国的传统节日,并热爱传统中国文化,节日。六、设计思路Introduction

2、 是整个模块的第一课时,旨在激发学生对西方节日的好奇心,通过课堂活动,让学生初步熟悉有关的词汇,为接下去的阅读学习活动做好准备。本节课的主要内容分为四大部分:Festivals all over the world, Description of Carnival, Holi and the way to describe a festival, Writing Task。其中第一部分的Brainstorm,通过观看Picture Show,利用竞争机制让学生回忆出现的中外节日,给学生更多的空间去归纳和整理新学的和已经学过的有关中外节日的词汇。第二部分由观看视频片段,了解狂欢节的相关背景知识,

3、激发学生的好奇心和求知欲,通过造句熟悉了解新词汇,学生自主体会新词汇的使用方法。第三部分针对学生较为陌生的霍利节,让学生提出问题。通过一段对Holi的描述,让学生了解霍利节的相关信息,并进而思考描述节日类文章的结构模式,为后面第四部分动手写作的活动做好铺垫。第四部分是学生的输出时间。通过大量词汇和表达方式,写作模式的积累,让学生自主完成一段对中国节日的描述,并让全班同学猜测他/她所描述的节日。为后面的阅读和写作课打下了坚实的基础。通过中西方节日的对比,分析,帮助学生建立跨文化交际的意识,并提高他们对中国传统文化,节日的热爱。Teaching Aims:1.
