3、long way to go. 【规律精点】过去分词作状语,表完成、被动,与逻辑主语之间是被动关系;有些过去分词已形容词化,作状语时表示人的状态。常见的有:satisfied , surprised , interested , moved , worried , pleased, disappointed 过去分词作状语时,其前面可以带有相应的连词,如when , though , although , as if , as though , if , unless, until , once 等,表时间、让步、条件、方式等。状语从句的省略条件:从句主语与主句主语一致,且从句中含有动词be,
4、常省略主语和be。二、过去分词作状语可表时间,原因,让步,结果,方式,条件等。.作时间状语过去分词(短语)作时间状语,相当于一个时间状语从句。Once published (= Once it is published), the dictionary will be very popular.作原因状语过去分词(短语)作原因状语,相当于一个原因状语从句。Lost in thought(= Because I was lost in thought ) , I didn t notice what was happening outside.作条件状语 过去分词(短语)作条件状语,相当于一个条
5、件状语从句。Given another hour(= If I am given another hour), I can also work out this problem.作让步状语 过去分词(短语)作让步状语,相当于一个让步状语从句。Beaten by the opposite team(= Though we were Beaten by the opposite team )we didn t lose heart and encouraged each other.作方式或伴随状语The old man got on the bus supported by a girl. (=
6、 and was supported by a girl)在一位姑娘的搀扶下,老人上了公共汽车。三、过去分词与现在分词作状语的区分【语境呈现】Asked why he was late , he cried.Looking out of the window, I saw some students playing there.【规律精点】过去分词与句子的主语之间存在逻辑上的动宾关系,即表被动;现在分词与句子的 主语之间存在逻辑上的主谓关系,即表主动。四、过去分词、现在分词、状语从句、独立结构作状语If caught (= If caught , the thief will be punis
7、hed by the police.After the homework was finished, children went home happily.=, children went home happily.=, children went home happily.【规律精点】过去分词(短语)作状语时,分词的逻辑主语与句子的主语要一致。若不一致,需用【学以致用】1.用过去分词作状语来改写句子As I was worried about the journey, I was unsettled for the first few days. , I was unsettled for
