1、教学基本信息题目Joes favourite hat学科英语年级 五教材内容Join In Book 5, Unit 4 个人信息姓名石少敏1. 教材分析Join inBook5第四单元的主题是:What do you collect?在第一、二、三课时学生已经谈论了有关收藏的话题,Joes favourite hat位于本单元第四课时,属于故事阅读课,本课故事是以连环插图以及人物对话描述来表现故事内容的,是富有趣味的图文并茂的故事教学课,故事中介绍了一对夫妇,男主人Joe是个酷爱收藏帽子,爱哭而且有些小气的男人,而女主人Sarah正好相反,她聪明漂亮善于动脑甚至还有些精明,故事主要是围绕Jo

2、e 、Sarah和帽子而展开的,故事幽默风趣,学生充满兴趣。2. 学情分析五年级的孩子们对故事题材的内容很感兴趣,但可能缺乏勇气和自信,不愿积极参与课堂活动;能根据上、下文、图片来猜测生词的意思,但不知该如何有效阅读;经过三年的英语学习,他们具备了一定的听的技能和阅读能力,但在阅读中获取有效信息和综合语言运用的能力还不够。 3. 教学目标(含重、难点)1.知识与技能:学生能够结合图片和文字理解故事;能四会掌握thief;能了解lost的格式和写法;2.过程与方法:学生在理解故事的过程中能结合上下文及学习经验猜句子的意思,能根据要求找到相应信息并形成一定的阅读策略,主要用到的方法有:情境创设、任

3、务驱动、师生互动、小组合作等。3.情感与态度:让学生在理解故事的过程中体会阅读的趣味;初步感受美国西部牛仔的生活。教学重点:掌握新的语言知识,通过阅读让孩子们捕捉有效信息,准确理解故事。教学难点:为故事配音及复述故事。4. 教学过程Step 1.Warming up:通过师生交流,竞猜价格,进而活跃课堂氛围:Hello, boys and girls! How are you today? Look at the picture,a black hat, guess how much is it?The girl please:10 yuan. T: Ten yuan,its very ver

4、y low.The boy please: 80 yuan T: Low,still low.The boy please: 100 yuan T: No no no,low, lowI ll tell you, it is 100 dollars, 100 dollars is about 611 yuan, so expensive, a hundred dollars for a hat? Yes ! a hundred dollars for a hat! Why ? Today we will learn a story about the black hat. 在此环节,设计情境,

5、引出课题。Step 2.Presentation-Story reading1.在pre-reading环节,课件首先呈现美国西部大草原的图片并伴有牛仔舞音乐,学生陶醉其中,感受异域风情,了解故事中两位主人公,进而走进故事主人:This is the west of America.look, there are so many trees and animals,and the grass is so green,the sky is so blue,this is the Puma Ranch. Joe and Sarah live here happily. Sarah is very

6、beautiful, she likes purple dress,Joe likes hats,he has a lot of hats, so we can say:Joe collects a lot of hats,but one day,his favourite hat is gone.Where is the hat? And who takes the hat away?lets listen to the whole story.学生带着问题整体感知,进入while reading环节, Task1. Listen and answer.A、Show task. B、Self

How much is it? $99. Sarah is the “thief” in the story. This is the

13、whole story,clear? Group discuss: What do you think of Joe? Like hats. Like crying.Honest. What do you think of Sarah? Clever. white lie.Step 3:Summarize 在Summarize 阶段,注重对学生进行情感教育,升华故事。Sarah tells Joe a white lie,Sometimes white lie helps people to enjoy the life.When we face problems, we should thi
