2、nergystoragesystemsthatareintendedtostoreenergyfrompowerorothersourcesandprovideelectricalorothertypesofenergytoloadsorpowerconversionequipment.Theenergystoragesystemsmayincludeequipmentforcharging,discharging,control,protection,communication,controllingthesystemenvironment,fuelorotherfluidmovementa

5、determinestobeappropriate.ThepreliminaryreviewprocessisaninformalmechanismthatprovidesauthorswiththeopportunitytorefinetheirproposalsbeforetheyadvancetothenextstageinULsstandardsdevelopmentprocess.Insomecases,theauthoroftheproposalsmaychoosetodiscontinuethem.Inthiscase,theauthorneednotdoanythingafte

6、rpreliminaryreviewhasended.Normally,thenextstepintheprocessisthemoreformalSTPballotandstakeholderreviewprocess.OnlycommentspostedduringtheSTPballotandstakeholderreviewprocesswillbeprovidedwitharesponseinCSDS.Foryourconvenienceinreview,proposedadditionstoexistingrequirementsareshownunderlinedandpropo
