Warming up1. Before class, play a short cartoon movie: Where is thumbkin?2. Revise some things by asking q

4、uestions. Whats this? Its a map. How do you spell it? Q-U-I-L-T. Step . Words1. Show pictures of new words and teach them.2. Show picture of 1a and ask “What can you see in the picture? E.g. I can see a sofa/ a table/ books/ chairs.3. Have Ss do 1a. Match the words with the things in the pictures an

5、d then check the answers. Step .Presentation There are so many things in the picture. But can you say their positions? Now I will teach you.1. Show pictures of a box and some keys. Ask and answer questions using “on/ in/ under” Wheres my pen? Its on/ in/ under the schoolbag.Wherere are my keys? They

6、re on/ in/ under the box.2. Lets talk. Ask Ss to talk about the five pictures using the structures above. Then invite some Ss to talk about them.3. Listening and reading. Have Ss listen to the tape and finish 1b. Number the things in the picture 1-4 and then check the answers. Have them read the con

7、versation in the picture in 1b together.Step . Drills: Competition time.T: (Show some chocolate and ask where it is.) Do you like chocolate? If you want it, I will give it to you. But you should be brave and active in the next part. Divide Ss into three groups and ask Ss to finish the 4 tasks.Ss who

8、 can finish the task well can get a star for their groups. The best group will get some chocolate.1. Answer quickly: Ss observe the picture in 1a carefully and then answer teachers questions quickly. 2. Memory test: Ss will see a picture of my living room for a few seconds, and then tell me the posi

Ask some Ss to read their articles in front of the classroom and correct the mistakes if necessary. Then have them read the sample article together.Step . Co
