1、人教新目标八年级英语上册Unit9 Can you come to my party?Section A(1a-2d)教学设计八中 张利华一.教材分析本单元以Invitation为核心话题,围绕重点句型:Canyou?Sure, Id love to./ Imsorry, I cant. I have to/Id love to, but I must来展开学习。通过本课学习,学生能够得体地发出邀请、接受邀请或拒绝邀请。本课时是本单元的第一课时,谈论的话 题贴近学生实际生活,学生在学习过程中容易引起共鸣。二.学情分析本班一部分学生已经具备了一定的英语知识运用和表达能力,乐于运用所学知识来和同伴

2、在较为真实的语境中进行交流,一部分学生还是缺乏交流的主动性,知识也有欠缺。三.学习目标知识与技能1.一部分学生能听懂并运用prepare for/exam/flu/until/hangout/catch等词汇来完成会话和练习。差一些的学生初步听和用。2.一部分学生能听懂并运用句型:Can you? Sure, Id love to./ Imsorry, I cant. I haveto/Id love to, but Imust来发出邀请、接受邀请、拒绝邀请并阐明理由。差一些的学 生能够理解并初步运用。过程与方法1.在学习中学会利用图画等非语言信息理解主题。2.学生能抓住用英语交际的机会。3.

3、学会听前预知、听中抓关键信息、听后归纳总结的学习策略。情感态度通过活动的开展,学生能在教师指导下学会用英语礼貌得体地提出邀请,营造积极乐观的人际氛围,表达自己的意愿,学生逐步具有良好 的人际关系,逐步提高自己的文化修养。四.学习重点、难点正确运用目标词汇和句型来发出邀请、接受邀请、拒绝邀请。五.教学手段多媒体六. 教学过程Stepl. Warmin g-upPlay a game n amed hot potato. Ask stude nts to pass on aball. The ball is madeof several pieces of paper. Play a piece

4、of music.Whe n music stops, the stude nts with the ball peels the paper, read thetask on the paper and finish it. On the last piece of paper, theressomething about the topic of this classparty. Today, lets learnsomething more about party.(设计意图:通过这一个热身活动,导入到本节课的课题。)Step2. Lead-i n1.New years Day isco

5、ming. Many people are planning a party. So am I. But I cant have aparty myself. Can you come to myparty? Ask somestudents cometomyparty. If somestudents answer“Yes, I can.”Or“No, I cant”,I will tell them they can answer my question more politely:“Sure, Idloveto. ” Or“Sorry, I cant. ” If someof them

6、answer:“Sorry, I cant. ” ,Ill ask them why.2.My friend Jone is going to have a party, too. Canhis friend come to the party? First, ask stude nts to ask the boy/girl inthe picture:“Can you come to my party?”Next, playthe tape and ask stude nts to tell the verb phrase of each picture like:help my pare

7、 nts/go to the doctor/have the flu/prepare for an exam.Lead students to read the new words and phrases. Then, ask students to make up conv ersati ons with the help of the pictures andstructures. Fin ally, askstude nts to work in pairs to practice the conv ersati ons.After a while, ask some pairs to

8、show their conv ersatio ns.(设计意图:通过听导出本节课生词短语,学生在认知并熟读生词短 语后,可以利用图画来逐步掌握发出邀请、接受和拒绝邀请的对话, 并为后面的环节做好铺垫。)Step3. Ear trai ning1.Anna is having a party, too. Can her friends come to the party? Lets listen to the tape and try to find the answer. Before listening,askstudents to read the namesof her friends

9、.And tell the students that if they hear“sure ” or“Idlove to ” , they should circle“can”. And if they hear“Sorryor“not ” , they should circle“cant ” . After listening,check their an swers by read ing the whole senten ces. Check howmanystudentsanswers are right by asking them to put up their han ds.2

10、.We know that Jeff, May and Mei Ling cant go to the party. Butwhy cant they come to the party? Lets listen to the tape aga in andcomplete the chart with reas ons. After listening, check t he studentsanswers . And ask students if their an swers are right.Next, Ask stude nts to read after the tape lou
