1、公开课Breakfast说课稿上海市振华外经职业技术学校 伍国峰一、课题及教材分析:本节区级公开课的课题是:Breakfast.是华东师范大学出版社出版的中等职业技术学校英语第二册(第二版2007年11月第2版)教材试用本第一单元的内容。教材由华师大邹为诚教授主编。本节课上的是“Unit 1 Restaurants”中的“Lesson 2 Breakfast ”的第一课时。我校目前使用这本教材。根据本学期的教学计划,清明节后该上到此课。Breakfast这个话题是一个常讲常新的话题,内容涉及面较广。可以涉及到早餐的内容,食品的名称,吃饭的礼仪,中西早餐文化的比较,早餐菜单的阅读,健康食品的选择
2、,食品安全,早餐的重要性,吃早餐习惯的养成方方面面,不一而足。二、学生情况分析:本次公开课为借班上课,学生为东辉职业技术学校的学生,学生的具体情况不详。这既是好事,课堂可以随时发挥,及时调整;也是坏事,课堂教学目标能否实现,师生间的交流是否顺畅,也是一个挑战。三本节课的教学目标(Teaching objectives):跟据上海市的课改要求和职校生的实际情况,制定知识与技能、过程与方法、情感态度与价值观的符合学生实际的三维目标。当然一节课,特别是第一课时,有些目标不能面面俱到。1. Knowledge and skills(知识与技能): 1) To help the students to
3、learn the expressions of different styles of breakfast in English. These are the key points.2) To get the students to know about some phrases often used during ordering breakfast. These are the key and difficult points.2.Procedures and methods:Based on phrase-based instruction, the teacher gradually
4、 transfers to conduct discourse-based instructions through interaction and mini-talk with peers and the teacher.3.Emotion, attitude and values:1) To get the students to form a good dietary habit and something about food safety.2) Try to get the students to realize the importance of having breakfast
5、properly.四、教学步骤及过程:(Teaching procedures)Step: Warming up and Tuning-in:(3-5 mins)由于是借班上课,第一次见面和打招呼就显得及其重要。这里的“Greetings and self-introduction.”比不可少。我自我介绍自己的family name and given。然后马上给学生们三次机会,去猜我的年龄,限定范围18至100岁。学生给出三个答案,主要是为了活跃课堂气氛,拉近师生间的距离,使学生没有陌生感和拘谨感。从而为今天的课堂教学打下良好的基础。老师可以这样说:Good afternoon, class
6、! First, Id like to introduce myself briefly. My family name is Wu, my given name is Guofeng.you can call me Mr. Wu. Now, li would like you to guess how old I am. You have got only thee chances. Who would like to try first?这也是我多年来总结出来的一套与学生第一次见面,如何有效的拉近与学生的距离的行之有效的方法,屡试不爽。猜年龄的游戏结束以后,一定要对学生的表现进行表扬。使他
7、们有一见如故的感觉。接下来马上进入正题:教师提问,学生回答。教师:What do you usually eat for breakfast? 学生答(略)教师:What did you have for your breakfast today? 学生答(略)教师:What is breakfast? 学生答(略) 教师:Breakfast (literally meaning to break the fasting period of the prior night; in Old English the term was meaning "morning meal"
8、) is the first meal taken after rising from a night's sleep, most often eaten in the early morning before undertaking the day's work. Among English speakers, "breakfast" can be used to refer to this meal or to refer to a meal composed of traditional breakfast foods (such as eggs, o
9、atmeal and sausage) served at any time of day.Step New material presentation and learning (15 mins)1. A game- Brain storming The teacher asks the students to name the foods they eat every day for their breakfast as many as possible, then write them down on the blackboard. They may say the names eith
10、er in English or in Chinese.2. Then ask the students to name the things that they can buy form the restaurants or roadside food stalls for their breakfast every day, and then write them down.3. Pattern drill practice: What did you have for your breakfast today?4. The students give the quick response
11、s.备教材:Breakfast foods vary widely from place to place, but often include a carbohydrate such as grains or cereals, fruit and/or vegetables, a protein food such as eggs, meat or fish, and a beverage such as tea, coffee or fruit juice. Coffee, tea, juice, breakfast cereals, pancakes, sausages, bacon,
12、sweet breads, fresh fruit, vegetables, eggs, mushrooms, baked beans, muffins, crumpets and toast with butter or margarine and/or jam or marmalade are common examples of breakfast foods, though a large range of preparations and ingredients are associated with breakfast globally.备学生:学生在回答老师的问题时,很可能会遇到
13、一些自己熟悉的早餐食品名称,但英语不会表达:老师要在课堂上鼓励每一个学生开口,积极参与教学过程,积极体验学习知识的氛围。中餐的英语表达方法:上海早餐的“四大金刚”(the four typical traditional breakfast food in Shanghai):烧饼(大饼)clay oven rolls;油条fried bread stick /fried dough stick;粢饭团rice and vegetable roll ;豆浆 soybean milk 作为学生的知识拓展,教师还可以再增加一些上海人经常吃的早餐的名称,如:煎韭菜盒Fried leek dumpli
14、ngs ;水饺boiled dumplings;馄饨 wonton;蒸饺 steamed dumplings;馒头steamed buns 或 steamed bread ;花卷 steamed twisted rolls;豆沙包steamed bun filled with bean paste;肉包子 steamed bun with meat filling;春卷 spring rolls;蛋饼egg cakes;锅贴 pot sticker;烧卖 shaomai 等等,总之,做到有备无患,多多益善。上海人习惯吃米饭,早餐也有吃泡饭的习惯,但现在的学生来自全国各地,所以早餐的品种要多考虑
15、几种。如用大米做的食品就有:米饭 rice;泡饭 cooked rice in soup or water;稀饭 rice porridge ;盖浇饭 rice served with meat and veggies on top白饭 plain white rice ;粽子 Zong zi a pyramid-shaped dumpling made of glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves (eaten on the dragon Boat Festival);蛋炒饭 fried rice with egg ;地瓜粥 sweet
16、 potato congee 还有“面类”:方便面 instant noodles;馄饨面wonton & noodles ;炒面 fried noodles;凉面 cold noodles in sauce;刀削面sliced noodles shaved noodles;麻辣面spicy hot noodles ;鳝鱼面 eel noodles ;麻酱面 sesame paste noodles ;鸭肉面 duck with noodles ;乌龙面 seafood noodles ;榨菜肉丝面 pork , pickled mustard green noodles ;牡蛎细面
17、oyster thin noodles ;拉面 hand-stretched noodles ; ramen;炒米粉 Fried rice noodles 等等。蛋类的烹调方法: 这也是本节课的一个会说会用的词汇要求。煮鸡蛋 boiled eggs ;生鸡蛋fresh egg ;煎鸡蛋pan-fried eggs ;炒鸡蛋scrambled eggs, 水泼蛋 poached eggs;咸鸭蛋 salted duck eggs;蛋黄 egg yolk;一面煎嫩,一面煎老的鸡蛋 over easy;鹌鹑蛋 quail eggs;皮蛋 100-year egg ;咸鸭蛋 sa
18、lted duck egg等等。教师还可以讲讲吃鸡蛋的重要性。饮料类有:drinks and beverage;豆浆 soybean milk;牛奶 milk;瓶装水 bottled water可乐 Coke;雪碧 sprite;纯净水 pure water;绿豆粥 mung bean porridge现在,学生吃西餐类食品也很流行,主要有:三明治 sandwich;热狗 hot dog;烤面包 toast;全麦吐司 whole wheat toast;汉堡包 hamburger;丹麦酥皮饼 Danish火腿 ham;燕麦粥 oatmeal;唐纳滋 doughnuts;百吉饼 bagel;松糕
19、 sponge cake;羊角面包 croissant;黑松饼 muffin 等等。1. Students give their responses and the teacher helps to spell and pronounce the words correctly. 21、s on the text.Step . Listening Practice (8 mins)1. Now we are going to listen to a dialogue between a customer and a waiter. The customer is ordering breakfast. Listen with the help of the menu.2. Fill in the blanks according to the conversation.3. Listen and try to repeat what the teacher says.这是我上
22、课前设计的一个听力练习,事前我给每位学生发来一张自己设计的听课文录音填空的一张课堂测试卷,想在练习学生听力的同时,培养学生的注意力和单词拼写能力,有些单词是学过的,有个别的是今天当堂学过的。也是对早餐词汇的复习与巩固。最后一个小听力题是我从以前的教材中选编的:其内容为:We have three meals a day, breakfast in the morning, lunch in the middle of the day, and supper in the evening.材料不难,但要准确的重复也不容易。Step .T comments on their performance and assigns homework (2 mins)最后陈述与总结:Nutritional experts have referred to breakfast as the most important meal of the day.
