He grew up in Seattle Washington.He was a very clever boy.His favourite subject at school was science and maths.When he was 13 years,he

At that time,computers were very large machine.Once he was very interested in a very old computer.He and some of his friends spent lots of time doing unusual things with it.In the end ,they work out a software program with the old machine.Bill sold it for 4,200 when h
8、e was only 17.In 1973,Bill went to Harvard University .In his third year,he left Harvard to work for a company called Microsoft. Bill began his company in 1975 with his friend Paul Allen.They thought the computer would come into every office and every home soon .So they began developing the software
9、 for personal computers.They improved the software to make it earier for people to use computers.Now he is the richest man in the world. Show the passage on screen and ask Ss to read and answer the following question:(1) What does Bill Gates do?(2) How much did Bill Gates sold for his first software
10、 program?T: OK,now you know something about Bill Gates and we also know he is the richest man in the world .Now lets look at screen and talk about the picture.After talking about the picture and present the target language : -What would you do if you had a million dollars ? - Id ···.W
