The installation o
26、f safety barriers allows to use standard instrumentation and installation in the non-intrinsically safe circuit.However, voltages must not exceed 250 V. A major drawback of this safety barrier is its relatively high ohmic resistance which has to be considered for line compensation. Safety barriers a

Earth connection of intrinsically equipment under normal operating conditions is permitted. Different earth potentials will not cause measurement e
29、rrors. The intrinsically circuit and the measuring instrument can have different potentials.
