Id like OK. yuan, please.” Students can get to know some grammatical knowledge.2. Ability Aim: Pupil be able to use the new words : beef, chicken, soup, noodles, vegetables
3、and sentences-“ What would you like? Id like OK. yuan, please” to communicate with others.3. Emotion, Attitude and Value Aims: Pupil can be interested in English learning and feel enjoyful. In the class, they can cooperate and communicate with each other. And they have the realization that everyone

Teaching Aids: rank of groups; the textbook; the blackboard and chalks; pictures; sentences cards; PPT2.
6、Analysis of the students:The teaching object of this lesson are students from Grade four, who have know some English words about food and number. They keep feeling quite interested in learning English, so during the class, students are expected to join the activities in class. For them, to learn Eng
7、lish words and sentences is difficult, so teaching ways should be funny and attractive. Teaching Procedures:Step 1: Warm-up/Revision1. Self-introduction of Doudou.2. Sing a song- Time to eatTeacher and students sing and do some body movement by the song.(2).RevisionRevise the words about food: rice;
8、 fish; juice; milk; bread.Step 2: Presentation1.Teaching the new words(1).Teach the wordbeef.Show students the picture of beef in the PPT, then show the word “beef”. Teacher teaches them to read the word in high and low voice.Pick one group of students to pass the picture of “beef” , at the same tim
9、e, to read the word one by one quickly.Teacher puts the picture on the blackboard and write it. At the same time, students write it on certain pieces of paper for calligraphy.Teach students how to exprase the price with number and the symbol-“”.(2).Teach the wordchicken; noodles; soup and vegetables
10、 in the same way.2. Grammatical knowledge(1).Summarize the knowledge of countable nouns and uncountable nouns, and differentiate these two kinds of words. (2).Explain the use of the word- some(3).Word grouping.Students put the words into two groups- countable nouns and uncountable nouns.Check togeth
11、er.(4).Explain the difference of “noodles” and “vegetable”.(5). Grammatical exerciseTranslate the sentences.Check the answers together.3.Teach the sentences.(1).Show the sentence“What would you like?” and its Chinese meaning in PPT, then, teach them to read.(2).Pass the card of this sentence to stud
12、ents and read it when he/she hold the card.(3).Put the sentence card on the blackboard.(3).The same way to teach other sentences.(4).Read the sentences in group.Step 3: Practice1.Game: “Fight” for seat.Pick one student from each group and let them walk around five chairs and say the sentence “What w
13、ould you like?”. When the teacher says “Stop”, they “fight” for a seat . The one who doesnt have a seat use “Id like(one new word they just have learned)” to answer the question.2.Work in pairs. Play the dialogue: One student acts as the waiter/waitress and the other one as a customer. 3.Pick studen
14、ts to make assessments.Step 4. Extention1.Sing and changeUse the sentence and words in this class to chage the lyrics of the songTime to eat and sing it with movement.2.ReminderCherish the food.Step 5. HomeworkDo a survey: Ask other members in your group the question “What would you like?” and write
