1、The impression of A Little Princess and Little Women A Little Princess is a touching novel written by Frances Hodgson Burnetta famous novelist and dramatist. It obviously contains lots of fancied plots, but the parts it talks about creating miracles, can really reach the bottom of my heart. The book

2、 can bring me into a world that is more than reality while reading it. The extraordinary story makes me ponder a lot and gives me a deep impression that every girl can be a princess. After reading this outstanding book, I was shocked by Sara, a little girl who suffered such unimaginable pain and tor

From my point of view, her spirit of being so strong-minded when she was in hard times is worth admiring. Ev

4、ery girl can be a princess if she can do all I mentioned, no matter she is rich, beautiful or not. To speak truthfully, I cannot do as well as Sara. However, I will exert myself on being a princess mentally. The story of a little princess reminds me a book I read many years ago, called little women.

5、 The story of little women also impressed me and makes me think a lot. Little Women is a coming of age drama tracing the lives of four sisters: Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy. During the American Civil War, the girls father is away serving as a minister to the troops. The family, headed by thier beloved Marm

During the course of the novel we see them grow in many ways - physically, intellectually, and especially emotionally

The possible love between these two represents one of the very important aspects in coming of age for a teenage girl. Jo treats this natural process as if it were some sort of disease,

Jo cannot understand why Meg would want to stop behaving like a sensible creature , and refers to love as such nonsense. After reading this two books, I found that Im really interested in those kind of story, I think Ill read a lot more in my free time. 11、Camille recently ,I was deeply moved by the main character Marguerite Gautier. “Camille” or “The Lady of the Camellias” by Alexandre Dumas, fils, is the story of Marguerite Gautier, a young courtesan, or kept woman, in Paris in the mid 1800s, and how she falls in love with a young man, Armand Duval,

12、 and then tries to escape from her questionable past. Unfortunately, it comes back to haunt her and she ends up returning to that life and dies painfully and alone, but with the knowledge that she was a noble woman at heart. after reading this book, a sentence always stay in my head, “Women are like

13、 the flowers”. Those pretty women are like those beautiful flowers; their delicate beauty makes people feel they are the miracle of life. However, even the God envies their beauty. It seems that beautiful women always have tragic endings. As we are normal persons, even we can see the hideousness of

Where have they gone? The impression of Gullivers Travels Gullivers Travels recounts the story of Lemuel Gulliver, a practical-minded Englishman trained as a surgeon wh

In a deadpan first-person narrative that rarely shows any signs of self-reflection or deep emotional response, Gulliver narrates the adventures that befall him on these travels. One of the most interesting questions about Gullivers Travels is whether the

16、Houyhnhnms represent an ideal of rationality or whether on the other hand they are the butt of Swifts satire. In other words, in Book IV, is Swift poking fun at the talking horses or does he intend for us to take them seriously as the proper way to act? If we look closely at the way that the Houyhnh

17、nms act, we can see that in fact Swift does not take them seriously: he uses them to show the dangers of pride. When bending my eyes downward as much as I could, I perceived a human not six inches high! A final indication that the Houyhnmns are not meant to be taken seriously occurs when the leader

He goes into a room in which a scientist is trying to turn wine into water (itself a prideful act that refers to the marriage at Gallilee). The scientist has been working hard at the experiment for many years without success,

19、 when the Houyhnmn arrives and immediately knows that to do: The creature no sooner stepped through the doorway than he struck upon a plan. Slurping up all the wine in sight, he quickly made water in a bucket that sat near the door .The impression of Little Women Little Women is a coming of age dram

25、refers to love as such nonsense. The impression of Pride and Prejudice Pride and Prejudice is the most enduringly popular novel written by Jane Austen. Many people simply regard Pride and Prejudice as a love story, but in my opinion, this book is an illustration of the society at that time. She perfe

26、ctly reflected the relation between money and marriage at her time and gave the people in her works vivid characters. The first sentence in this book is impressive. It reads: “It is a truth well known to all the world that an unmarried man in possession of a large fortune must be in need of a wife”.

27、 The undertone is very clear: the foundation of the marriage at that time is not emotion but possession. People always think that Austen was an expert at telling love stories. In fact, the marriage in her book is not the result of love, but the result of economic needs. After reading this book, I kn

28、ow the truth is that a poor woman must be in need of a husband, a wealthy man. Austen left this problem for us to think. The genius of Jane Austen lies in this perfect simplicity, the simplicity that reflects big problems. Although Austen was only 21 when she wrote “Pride and Prejudice”, her sharp o

29、bservation of social lives makes the style of this book surprisingly mature and lively. The plots in her works are always very natural. The development of the plot is as inevitable as a problem in mathematics. I think the depth of Pride and Prejudice is the reason that makes this book prominent and

30、classic. Today, her book still can be the guide telling us the economic relationships both at her time and in modern time. The impression of The Adventures Of Tom Sawyer The Adventures of Tom Sawyer is a literary masterpieces, written in 1876 by the famous author Mark Twain. Tom Sawyer is a mischievo

31、us young boy who lives in the small town on the Mississippi River called St. Petersburg. The story line is simple, the book reads like a biography or a memoir of a summer in Tom Sawyers life. Tom Sawyer seems to be the precursor of and the template for misfit kids such as Dennis the Menace, Malcolm

32、in the Middle, and Calvin and Hobbs. What makes this story great is that Tom Sawyer represents everything that is great about childhood. The book is filled with Toms adventures playing pirates and war with his friend Joe Harper. Tom has a trusted friend, Huck Finn, who few of the adults approve of.

33、The book is filled with ideas of how the world works, such as how pirates and robbers work, that are so innocent, they could only come from a child. It is a story filled with action, adventure, ingenious ideas, love, and schoolyard politics. The whole story is seemingly a complication of what people

34、 did or wish they did during their childhood. The book is a little difficult to read at first. Personally, it takes me a little while to get used to the 19th century dialect in the book. Other than referring to persons of African decent in derogatory terms (which Im sure uses terms even young childr

I highly recommend this book for anyone looking to feel young again, if just for a few hundred pages. The Impression Of Les MiserableLes Miserable is a world famous novel written by Victor Hugo, the French Romantic writer,

36、who though regarded in France as one of that countrys greatest poets, is better known abroad for such novels as Notre-Dame de Paris and Les Miserable. Les Miserable tells a story that Ran Arang had suffered from 19 years dark time in the jail for he stole some bread due to his excessive starvation.

37、After his release from prison, the Discrimination and Ignoring of other people made he despair. However, miraculously, a kind bishop changed his life by his warm heart. And after that, when Ran Arang full in love with Esmeralda , though this love has been very tough, his life was totally different.A

38、fter reading this book, Ive been impressed by Mr. Hugos vivid writing of the tragic fate the poor people has and the cruel exploitation of the capitalism. Whats also impressed me is the hoping of changing this miserable world by fraternity, kindness, kindhearted and forgiveness. Fraternity is a trea

39、sure of human beings. Everyone has love, but the majority of people just love themselves, their family and the things they owned. However, Ran Arangs love is more than that, the poor, the wretch, the compassionate people, the respectable people, all he loves. This kind of love called fraternity. The

40、 noble soul is for every great man which Tan Arang is. Covered by the ugly appearance is a great kind heart, which is especially ironically contrasted with the dark corrupt society. Though the plot that Ran Arang risked his life many times for a injured stranger, Im impressed by Ran Arangs incredible courage and his noble soul. The society needs h
