4、 and misuse of pun ctuati on in exa mpl e-based lear ning. She is exce pti on ally self-disc ip li ned and highly motivated. Miss Lin is good at self- inno vati on, which I thi nk is one of her most treasured scholastic ap titudes. In stead of choos ing simple paper top ics, she always came up with

5、creative thoughts in material select ion. Based on her p ractical exp erie nee in campus Model Un ited Nati ons, she once focused on the study of the Ian guage features in academic writi ng for MUN. Miss Lin dem on strates a strong inno vative sp irit, which I think is one of her most treasured scholastic ap titudes. When writ ing term pap ers, she always selected very new and hence very challe nging topics

13、 rather tha n old and easy on es. In concep tualiz ing the research frameworks for these topi cs, she could always come up with origi nal ideas or theses. Based on her p ractical exp erie nee in the in tercollegiate Model Un ited Natio ns (MUN) debates, she once made a very detailed study of Ian gua

14、ge features in MUN discourses. Miss Lin is kee n on study ing the En glish Ian guage. She has read all my En glish articles and tran slati ons I p ost every day in my p ublic subscri pti on acco unt on WeChat, a very popu lar cross-p latform in sta nt messagi ng service in China. 19、10句话的流水日记,作为复习、巩固和新遇英语词语和进一步熟习句法的练 习机会;每周写一篇短文(essay),来作为前面讲到的练习机会,二来作为锻炼自己逻辑 思维能力及观察、分析和解决问题的能力的机会。在这个漫长的过程中,毅力是不可或缺的 使人坚持修炼并取得成功的性格因素。 3.写任何东西,只要有时间,作为每篇成品的第一阶段要反复修改。要坚信,每审读一遍 都会有收获。所以,修改20遍都是有必要的。修改时要对自己的用词用语勇于和善于怀疑。 查阅词典核查其正误成为你最重要的自我纠错的手段。 记住,你自己写的东西很少会有人帮 你纠错,只有靠自己纠错。修炼是为了在自己漫长的职业生涯中最终能培养起超强的职

20、业性 的错误自我意识能力、自我辨识能力和自我纠错能力。 4. 一定要警惕自己其实写得不好(有很多自己不易觉察的错误)而自我感觉良好的心理倾 向,也一定要警惕觉得自己写得比别人好的心理迷失。 要培养起看到别人写得其实比自己好 自己一眼就能看出的心理状态和能力,从而激发自己多多修炼; 看到别人用了你预想不到的 词语或表达方式时,要立即对其进行深度研读,连环查阅多部工具书, 如有必要还要反复谷 歌或雅虎,以确认此词语使用或表达方式是准确地道的,从而最终变成自己的确切无误的词 意识到自己作为非母语写 语积累。在这个艰苦的过程中就能培养自己谦虚谨慎的心理状态, 作者,其实还有很多自己未能觉察到的错误,还有很多想要表达其实未能写出的表达方式和 用语。要认识到,非母语写作更是没有止境的。 5.平时不怕慢,平时的慢是为了积累,慢体现和包容很多必要的步骤。平时的慢是为了未 来某个时间节点接受考试时能做到快而比较准确地道。 当然,只要不考试,是可以永远慢的。 对非母语写作而言, 慢可以是一种养成的爱好。慢了一定阶段后,或许发现自己写得好一点 了。到了你真要快或被迫快的时候或场合,就能做到快而差错率不那么高了。 6 .只读不写不是正道,同时动笔写才是正道。 遇到
