They went to New Zealand, Thailand and Japan to exchange. They gained foreign culture, friendship, s
3、ightseeing and so on. Also, the passage tells us the different organizations to study abroad on free.Teaching objectives1. Language knowledgeThe Ss will be able to master the following new words: though, exchange, host, organization, aim, throughout, deeply, affected, dump, although, sightseeing, fi
4、nal and chatting.The Ss will be able to master the following new phrases: host family, exchange student, be required to do sth, give a talk about sth, throughout the world and so on.2. Explain to them that it is very important to own the five senses. Ss finish task 1 and task 2 on the student paper. Step 3 Pre-reading (14 mins)Task 1 Guessing games (
11、8 mins) The whole class is divided into 4 groups. The Ss who play the games need to blindfold their eyes. Two students play each part of the game. “Smell”: Choose one kind of fruits: orange. Ss smell them and guess their names; “Taste”: Choose one kind of fruits: grape. Ss taste them and guess their
12、 names;“Touch”: Choose one kind of melons: tomato. Ss touch the three melons and guess their names.Task 2 Finish Ex B1(4 mins)Ss finish the Ex B1 in English groups on their student paper. They can discuss and choose the best answer. Then the leader of each group comes to the blackboard and writes do
