3、孩子喜欢跳舞,考向3：while作名词时,意思是“一会儿”。如: You can have a rest for a while.你可以休息一会儿。 拓展：辨析while与when 表示“当的时候”时,如果后面的动词为延续性动词,则多用while。如: While I was reading a newspaper, my dog ran away.= I was reading a newspaper when my dog ran away.当我读报纸的时候,我的狗跑开了,如果主从句都是进行时(包括现在进行时和过去进行时),多用while引导从句,可译成“与此同时”。如: My fathe

4、r was watching TV while my mother was cooking supper.我爸爸在看电视,与此同时,我妈妈正在做晚餐。 当when引导的带有短暂性动词的从句与含有进行时态的主句连用时,可以根据情况译为“突然；就在这时”。如: I was sleeping when the door opened.我正在睡觉,门突然开了,remind的用法 This story reminds us that you can never know whats possible unless you try to make it happen.这个故事提醒我们：你永远不知道什么是可
