They serve for life and can be removed only by resignation or by impeachment. It is one of the many ironies of

The President is both the head of state and the head of government, as well as the mili

12、tary commander-in-chief and chief diplomat. The executive branch of the federal government, a vast organisation numbering about 4 million people.,.,25,Limited Presidential Powers,The President may sign or veto legislation passed by Congress and has the power to recommend measures to Congress.
