8、ull product range consists of the following four categories and this section of the Operations StandardsManual will provide information on the related merchandise range:Whole BeansDrinksCoffeeOur HeroRelatedMerchandiseAccompanyingFoodDrinks RangeCoffee is our hero product. The drinks menu is primari

9、ly based around a selection of hand-made-to-order hotand cold espresso coffee-based drinks accompanied by various formats of hand-made-to-order tea, chocolate and fruit flavoured drinks as well as bottled water.The range of drinks promoted should cover three segments:Drinks Range1. Espresso based cl

10、assics made to GJCI standards and recipesA list of mandatory drink inclusions and the details of all proprietaryand approved drink recipes are found in the Menu Board Toolkit on Gloria.2. 12、ed and decaffeinated coffees at its state-of-the-art facilities.Your coffee house is expected to stock and display a minimum of the core range whole beans in 200g retail packs, in addition to any other format available at the time; for example 1kg served by weight or 50g pre- ground packs.Exception

13、may be permitted by the Gloria Jeans Coffees Support Team for small coffee houses in high foot traffic locations; for example sports stadiums or small kiosks with a low potential of whole bean sales.A variety of whole beans should be stocked relevant to the coffee brewing methods prevalent in the ma

14、rketand the tastes of the guests.Whole beans are offered for sale whole or ground to the required coarseness of the brewing method specified by the guest.Whole Bean Zip Lock BagsThe zip lock bags are designed for use in coffee houses that purchase whole beans in bulk (1kg bags). When a guest purchas

15、es whole bean coffees, 200g is dispensed from the kilo bag, weighed on the Wedderburn scales, ground to order, and placed in the zip lock bag for guests to take home.These bags offer our guests the convenience of taking their whole bean or ground coffee home and not having to transfer it to an air-t

16、ight container. The bags have a premium zip lock format, complete with double foil lining to minimise the entry of light. This ensures the beans remain fresh, allowing our guests to enjoy their coffee for longer.There are 3 types of zip lock bags available for order via CREMA online ordering. They a

17、re:Blended silver packageSingle Origin black package Infusion bronze packageAlong with the zip lock bags, pre-printed stickers are also available for ordering. 19、 bags must be weighed on the Wedderburn scales as they arecertified for the sale of weight measured products. The weight must then be written on the bag along with the name of the bean. NB: Barista scales are not certified for this purpose and will breach regulations if an inspector visits your stor

20、eOnce any whole bean bag is open, to maintain freshness you must adhere to the 14 day shelf life (when stored correctly it is 14 days). Simply write the date the bag was opened on the outside of the bag. Discard 14 days from this day and record any waste on your spreadsheetFood RangeThe food range s

21、hould aim to complete and enhance all coffee-drinking occasions at Gloria Jeans Coffees. It isimportant to have a selection of relevant food choices, ready to eat in the same time as it takes to receive a made-to-order drink.The incorporation of an appealing food range should maximise both the guest
