Entering Data Enter your x y z data into columns A B and C one data point per row Formulas in the worksheet transform the data and the chart is actually displaying the data in columns P and Q Chart series stored in columns V and W Show Data This checkbox executes a macro to control the visibility of the data series Data Scaling These option buttons determine the type of scaling used in the chart and is linked to cell C2 Scaling The original data is transformed such that it has a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 3 If you select the Single scale for all data option all of the data uses the same scaling This option will show the data most accurately but one or more dimensions of the chart may not be filled completely This option is suitable for data that has a similar scale for all three dimensions If you select the Separate x y and z scaling option each dimension is scaled separately This option may distort the cross dimensional differences in the data but it will produce an acceptable chart for all data Performance Issues Rotating the chart involves many recalculations For best results don t have any other workbooks open especially those that are calculation intensive To
