Unit7 Its raining. Section A 1 (1a-2c)Teaching Designing 教学设计1、 教材分析 本教学设计选材出自人教版新版新目标英语七年级下册Unit7 Its raining. Section A 1 (1a-2c) 本单元的中心话题是“谈论天气和人们正在进行的活动”,各项活动主要围绕这一话题设计。Section A部分一共有三个模块,第一模块(1a-1c)以天气谈论为主要话题,以对天气词汇和地名的学习为重点;第二模块(2a-2d)以听说训练为主,拓展训练How与What 引导的特殊疑问句的形式和用法,训练学生的会话连贯性和语言交际能力;第三模块(grammar focus-3b)以选词填空、调查报告为重点,既切合考试形式又活跃了课堂气氛,加强了学生对各类特殊疑问词引导的以现在进行时态为标志时态句子的理解与掌握。而1a-2c就是本单元最基本的一个听说任务链, 属于第一和第二模块的内容。本部分教学重点是How引导的询问天气的特殊疑问句,描述天气状况的形容词,还有与天气相关的人们相应的即时活动。难点是现在进行时中助动词be 和动词-ing的正确使用。涉及的文化背景知识主要有世界各地的气候差异,谈论天气是顺利进行交际的一个交际策略。二、学情分析: 在学习本节课内容前,学生已经预习过Section A 的单词,不仅会读也会写, 在平时的学习中已经接触过Hows the weather? 和Whats the weather like ?的问答句,所以在本课的学习中要多注重实现交际应用的学习目标。三、教学目标: 1. 语言知识目标:1) 能掌握以下单词: rain, windy, cloudy, sunny, snow, weather, cook.能掌握以下句型: Hows the weather in Beijing? Its sunny. What are you doing? Im playing basketball. 2) 能用所学的知识描述天气情况。 3)描述正在发生的动作。 2. 情感态度价值观目标: 鼓励学生善于观察天气,善于调整自己的情绪,每天做好出行的准备;了解世界各地的天气情况,增加世界气候的观念。教师寄语:“未雨绸缪”。二、教学重难点1. 教学重点:1) The vocabulary and useful expressions. 2) Hows the weather? Its raining/ rainy/windy. 3) What are you doing?Im playing basketball. 2. 教学难点:运用目标语言来对天气进行问答,并且会问答其他人正在进行的活动。四、教学过程. Warming up and leading in1. Greet the Ss and organize the class to remember new words in this lesson. 2. Watch a video program about the weather forecast. . Review new words and Presentation 1. (Show some pictures of the weather) Let Ss look at the pictures and ask them how the weather is. Ss review the new words and expressions with the help of the pictures. 2. Present the signs of the five kinds of weather. 3. Get Ss find out the regularity of “n.+y=adj.” . Pairwork1. Practice Game (chant) Hows the weather? Its sunny/cloudy/rainy/windy/snowy.First slowly, then quickly.2. Act out. Look at the pictures on the screen. Ask the Ss to ask and answer about the pictures . Have a match among 4 groups to see which group can work out the most ask-answers to stimulate Ss to act out their conversations.3.(Showing some pictures on the big screen.) Present five cities in the world: Toronto, Moscow, Boston, Beijing, Shanghai.Ask Ss Hows the weather in Toronto/.? and get Ss guess and answer the question. IV. ExerciseDo 1a. Match the words with pictures and check the answers. V. Listening 1b1. Now lets look at the city names in the box in 1b. Well hear four conversations. Listen carefully, point out each city in the picture as it comes upon the tape. Play the recording a second time. Ask Ss to write the name of the city in the picture of its weather. 2. Check the answers. VI. Pair work 1c1. Tell the Ss: If you are in one of the places in the picture above. Talk about the weather with your friends in another city on the phone. 2. Make a model with a student like this:T: Hi! Hows the weather in Beijing?S1: Its sunny. 3. Ss work in pairs. Ask and answer about the weather in the cities. VII. PresentationLook at the pictures on the screen .Get Ss ask and answer about the weather and what people are doing in the pictures. And know another synonymous sentence “whats the weather like in Toronto/.?” of “Hows the weather in Toronto/.?” VIII. Pair work 2c1. Look at the pictures and talk about the people in 2a with a partner. 2. Ask a student the questions as a model:T: Whats Uncle Joe doing? S1: Hes playing basketball.3. Ss work in pairs. Ask and answer about the pictures. IX. Listening 1. Work on 2a 2b. LetsseewhatJoesfamiliesaredoing.Pointtothe4pictures. 2. AskSstelleachpersonisdoingineachpicture.Moreattentionsshouldbepaid tothecorrectuseofthePresentProgressiveTense. 3. Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the pictures 1-4. 4.PlaythetapeforSstocheck the answers. 5.Withthewholepicture,getsomeSstotellthestoryofit. 6. BrainstormingPlaythetapeforanothertime.Thendoamemorytest. AskSs:WhatsUncleJoe/Jeff/Mary/AuntSarahdoing?WhatreScottandLucydoing?IsJeffwatchingTV? etc. 7. Let Ss match the names with the activities in 2b. Play the recording for the Ss to check the answers. IX. Expand.Do a report of the weather forecast for some big cities in China or in the world.X.
