的社会政治学说，得出的结论也各不相同。 本文意在把蝇王放在荒岛小说的系统中加以考察，研究它与 传统荒岛小说的不同之处，以突出它对荒岛文学的发展。从以某种不 以人的意志为转移的原因而流落荒岛、到在岛上有着奇特的经历、到 最后意外获救离开荒岛，蝇王在创作模式上与笛福的鲁滨逊漂 流记和巴兰坦的珊瑚岛同属荒岛小说。但笛福、巴兰坦从正面 的角度，以肯定的形式，表现了“人性皆善”和“谁努力、谁追求、 谁得救”的主题。而蝇王通过描写一群6 至1 2 岁的英国学童在 荒岛上所演绎的一场生存悲剧，第一次把“人性恶”的主题写进荒岛 小说，揭示了人性中的邪恶和兽性，打破了“荒岛神话”的传统，赋 予荒岛文学以新的内容。从文明小社会的建立到瓦解再到相互残杀， 从荒岛的原始到走向未来人类世界的原子战争，相似“三步曲”的表 层结构下汹涌流动着的是全新情节，使得蝇王最终完成了与鲁 滨逊漂流记、珊瑚岛等荒岛小说绝对不同的内在结构上的突破。 同时，蝇王又是寓言与荒岛小说这两种不同文学形式的完美结合。 作为寓言小说，它更能清楚地表达诸如道德、人性等难以解释的抽象 问题。蝇王通过一个简单的冒险故事，深刻揭示了人性邪恶这一 深刻主题。作为荒岛小说，它激发了读者的冒险、探索本能，使小说 更具吸引力。这两者的有机结合构成了戈尔丁独特的写作模式。所有
