摘要 翻译是一种语际活动，涉及到语言、文化、译者和翻译目等许多因素。它始 于源语言文本的解码，终于将源语言文本翻译成目标语言文本。在此过程中，译 者须考虑上述因素来生成满意的译语文本。但不论译者需要考虑哪些因素，他所 翻译的都不是个别词句，而是语篇。在这种意义上，翻译是基于语篇的活动。在 翻译标准中，忠实和通顺是受到普遍接受的两个标准。而衔接对源语文本和译语 文本的通顺都起到重要作用。 随着篇章语言学的发展，衔接在翻译中的应用得到了更多注意。衔接在源语 文本的理解和译语文本的生成过程中起到重要作用。衔接学习对翻译实践有重要 价值。韩礼德和哈桑认为有结构性和非结构性两种衔接。有些学者对英汉翻译中 的词汇和语法衔接进行了研究，但是对结构性衔接研究甚少。翻译策略基于源语 和译语的异同对比。根据对翻译、翻译与衔接、衔接手段的分析，作者对比研究
