摘要 从古希腊至今，西方在隐喻和颜色隐喻的研究上取得了丰硕的成果。我国在 西方的影响之下，在此领域也有了一定的发展。本文探讨的主题为中英文在蓝色 隐喻中的异同。为了对中英蓝色隐喻进行深入系统地对比研究，本文不仅总结了 从古希腊至今关于隐喻、颜色隐喻，尤其是关于蓝色隐喻的文献，而且从中英文 数据库中收集了广泛又具代表性的数据进行对比，从而使此文的对比研究更具可 信性和参考性。本文搜集的数据不仅来自两个权威数据库( 英国国家语料库和北 京大学汉语语言学研究中心) ，更有来自最新的电子报纸和电子杂志的数据，用 以研究对比中英蓝色隐喻的使用频率以及蓝色隐喻中最常使用的喻意。 基于现有的数据，本文的研究结果与前人的研究基本相似，结论如下：1 在 不同性别中，蓝色隐喻的使用有着性别趋向性的差异，即男性比女性更倾向于蓝 色，而女性则更易选择粉色；中英文在蓝色隐喻的使用频率上也有着差异，即相 比中文，蓝色的隐喻意义在英文中的使用更广泛。2 中英文的蓝色隐喻有着相 同点，如蓝色在两种语言中都常用于诸如工作，计划和办公文件等语境中；中英 文的蓝色隐喻更有着差异，其表现为蓝色在两种语言中涵义的不同，尤其表现在 英文的 b l u e 和中国的“蓝”在喻意上的不同。在现有的研究结果基础之上，本文 进一步探讨了中英在蓝色隐喻的使用上存在异同的原因。存在相似性的原因可能 是出于人类对共同的自然世界的感知的相似性，或是出于人类共有文化的相似 性。而差异性的存在则可能由多种因素导致，例如地理环境，人生观，色彩运动， 文化认同等。 关键词：颜色隐喻；蓝色隐喻；相似性；差异性 a b s t r a c t i ti sw i d e l ya c k n o w l e d g e dt h a
