2、ent Kennedy in 1963 and ask for equal rights. On August 23, 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was at the front of the March on Washington. On the steps of the Lincoln Memorial that day, Dr. King delivered a speech that was later entitled I Have a Dream.,In 1964, Dr. King won the Nobel Peace Prize fo

3、r leading non-violent demonstrations. In 1968, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated while he was leading a workers strike in Memphis, Tennessee.,His life was threatened many times, have been ten times under various names imprisonment (监禁) three times was put in prison, three times by the ass
