B:I like elephants. A:Why do you like them? B:Because theyre cute. What animals do you like? B:I like dogs becau
4、se theyre friendly and smart. etc.Step 2 Learn new words .Ask Ss to learn new words carefully. Try to find out the Ss who learn new words quickly and well.Ask Ss to complete the sentences according to the meaning and the first letter.1, Some animals are in great d_.We should protect them.2,The Ss in

Ask Ss to read the four titles in2b, ask Ss to predict the content of an article with each of he titles .Then ask Ss to read the article quickly and choose the best titles for the article.Then explain some important

And ask Ss to make notes carefully.Activity 2c- Group Writing SwitchIn 2c, have Ss work in small groups to copy, complete and check the mind map.1,Have Ss work in groups of four.2,Tell Ss that each group member must copy and complete one
9、 of the boxes in the mind map. They should each write on a separate piece of paper.3,When a group is finished the activity they should stand up, each member holding a piece of paper containing one of the four parts of the ming map.4,When all Ss are standing, shout the word “switch” and instruct Ss t
10、o try and create new groups. Remind them that groups should only have four Ss and they must contain one of the four parts of the ming map.5,Have Ss work with their new group members to review and correct one anothers answers.6,Shout the word “switch” again. Once again Ss must form new groups and rev
11、iew answers.7,Finish by eliciting the correct answers and writing these on the board.
