unless和not••,until的区别

unless引导从句时多强调条件,而not……until句型则强调时间。Unless连接的

主从句的时态一般是主句是将来时而从句现在时not……until连接的主从句中可以使用

多种时态。

比较:

在此句末的to后省略了toucho在英语里,有些动词像hope,like,want,try,need,

助动词如beableto.,begoingto之后,为了避免前后重复,往往只用一个to代表动词

不定式。

Whatabout……?与Howabout……?可以用来询问消息、提出建议或征询意见,其后

可接名词、代词、动名词、副词(如next)和状语从句等。

(1)I'mready.Whataboutyou?

7.makesure后跟了一个省略了that的从句。当表示“弄确实、使确定”意思时,常

用在祈使句中,其后的从句里要用一般现在时。当makesure表示“认为、确信”的意思时,

其后的从句时态可视情况而定。

(2)Makesure(that)yourroomisclean.

(3)Wemadesureyouwerenotcomingtoday.我们认为你今天一定不来了。

8.turnoff其反义词是uturnon”

turnup(开大)其反义词是turndown(关小)

9.attheendof/intheend

attheendof意为“在……末,在……尽头”,既可以表示时间的概念也可以表示空

间的概念。而intheend只能表示时间的概念,其后不能接of短语,相当于finally,atlast.

12.insteadof/instead

insteadof是介词短语。意思是“代替、而不是”。其后可以接动名词、不定式、介词

短语和名词、代词。可放在句首或句尾使用。

(3)ThissummerIwenttoQingdaoinsteadofgoingtoBeijing.

instead是副词。试比较。

13.taste/smell/sound/look/feel等感官动词的用法。其后必须加形容词。

14.Noneofyouwatchedcarefullyenough.

none为不定代词,意思是“没有一个人或物”。none做主语指代可数名词时,其谓语

动词单复数形式都可以,但是当它指代不可数名词时,其谓语动词为单数第三人称形式。none

常与表示范围的of介词短语连用并表示全部否定。

(1)Noneofthemhas/havegotabike.

(2)Noneofusis/areafraidoftheghosts.

(3)Noneofthismoneyismine.

none/noone的比较

none既可以指代人也可以指代物,强调数量,可以用来回答howmany开头的问句。而

用法与意思基本相同的n。one(nobody)只能指代人,它们不强调数量,可以用来回答who

开头的问句。

enough可指代可数名词或不可数名词,其谓语动词形式可依据它指代的名词的数来定。
