课程基本信息学科高中英语年级高一年级学期秋季课题《人教版新教材必修一复习金课》M1U5LanguagesaroundtheWorld(Section1)教学目标BYtheendofthisclass,thestudentswillbeableto1.designareviewingrouteunderthethemeof“languagesaroundtheWorld”;2.explorefouraspectsrelatedtothefoursectionsofthisunit:variouslanguagesaroundtheworld,theChinesewritingsystem,differentkindsofEnglish,Polyglot;3.reorganizethethoughtsandthink“what’sbeyondthelanguages”;4.rethinkcriticallyaboutthetheme“languages”andformapositiveattitudetowardslanguagelearning.教学重难点课时分析:本学习单元聚焦语言发展和语言学习这一主题。学生已通过本单元的学习,了解了联合国官方语言多样性及文化价值,汉字的独特历史,对比了英式与美式英语差异,清晰了Polyglot(多语者)是语言学习的佼佼者,更是文化交流的桥梁。单元复习第一课时旨在引导学生在单元整体学习基础上进一步深度思考汉字对我国文化传承和发展的积极意义、语言作为人类共通工具的无限魅力和发展趋势以及语言学习的策略和方法。教学重点:1.引导学生自我设计本单元的复习途径:即自我安排基于单元内容的四个探索◎explorethelanguagesaroundtheworld—exploretheChinesewritingsystem—◎exploredifferentkindsofEnglish—◎explorethebenefitsofbeinga“Polyglot”。

2.引导学生对基于单元主题的观点进行概括,并针对主题展开深层次的思考,即what’sbeyondthelanguagesaroundtheworld。

教学难点:1.激励学生就reviewingroute切实开展基于主题探索四个层次的思考。
