InthefirstweekofNovember2011,peopleincentralOklahomaexperiencedmorethantwodozen
earthquakes.Thelargest,amagnitude(量)5.6quake,shookthousandsoffansinacollegefootball

globallyeachyear.Thatmaysoundscary,butpeopledon'tfeelmanyofthembecausethey
happeninremoteandunpopulatedregions.Manyquakeshappenundertheocean,andothershave
averysmallmagnitude.
Scientistsknowaboutsmall,remotequakesonlybecauseofverysensitiveelectronicdevices
