专题07重点语法知识梳理一:情态动词、连词及专练100题Grammar1:情态动词Ⅰ.情态动词一、概论情态动词是一种特殊的助动词,具有下列特征:1.情态动词具有一定的词义,能表达某种看法;如:can能,may可以,must必须,need需要,等等;2.情态动词不能单独作谓语,只能和实义动词的原形一起构成复合谓语;如:Youcanstayherebefore5:00o’clock.你可以在这呆到五点钟。Wemusthaveatalkrightnow.我们现在就必须谈谈。3.情态动词无人称变化,即任何事物做主语对情态动词来讲都无变化。但是情态动词有时态变化。时态变化会在以后分单词讲解,此处仅以can为例,看看人称对情态动词是否无影响:如:Icandanceverywell.我舞跳得很好。Hecanplaybasketballprettywell.他篮球打得很好。Iknowyoucanplaythepianofairlywell.我知道你钢琴弹得很棒。Theyallcanswimquitewell.他们游泳游得相当好。常见的情态动词can/can’t,能够/不能①表示"能、会",指脑力或体力方面的"能力"。例如:

②表示"可能",常用于否定句或疑问句中,指某种可能性。例如:

③表示"可以",常用于口语中,指许可或请求做某事。例如:

not(can't/cannot)+动词原形+其它。表示"某人不能(不会、不可能)做……"。其中can't是can

not的缩略式,英国多写成cannot。例如:

motorbike.我不会骑摩托车。must/mustn’t,必须/禁止①表示“必须”,此时可用于肯定句或疑问句。例如:YoumustfinishyourhomeworkbeforeIeback.②用情态动词must提问,肯定回答用must;否定回答用needn’t。例如:MustIreturnthebooktoday?Yes,youmust./No,youneedn’t③用于否定句时,mustn’t的意思是“一定不要、不能”,而不表示“不必”例如:Youmustn’twalkyourdogonthegrass.你不能在草坪上遛狗。should/shouldn’t,应该/不应该should表示义务或责任时意为“应该”:

表示建议或劝告时意为“应该”:

【注】有时语气较强,含有命令的意味:

。should的否定形式:shouldn’t不应该Students

学生们不应当花太多的时间玩计算机游戏。★情态动词不能单独使用,必须与其后的动词原形构成谓语。如:Youcan’twalkyourdoghere.(can’t+walk)Youmustfinishyourhomeworktoday.(must+finish)三、情态动词分类1.表示义务——mustmust表示“必须”,强调主观,用于现在、将来时态,否定式needn’t。【鉴别haveto】haveto表示“不得不”,强调客观,用于现在,将来和过去时态。否定式为don’t/didn’t/doesn’twon’thaveto。2.表示猜测——must/may/might75%把握的猜测:must,否定can’t,句中通常有证据。50%把握的猜测:may,否定maynot,句中通常有notsure。25%把握的猜测:might,否定mightnot,句中通常有notsure。must猜测的不同时态:mustbeagoodstudent.musthaveeatentoomuchlastnight.3.表示请求——might/may/could/canmightcould比较生硬。【注意】:couldcan/can’t;maycan/may/can’t/mustn’t。4.表示能力——can/beableto表示现在或将来的能力时,用can或beableto;表示过去的能力时,could表示过去的本领;was/wereableto表示过去特定环境一次性的能力。5.情态实义双胞胎——need/dare作为情态动词时,need和dare无三单变化;否定直接加not;后面加动词原形;eed和areodesddotoodingsh;6.hadbetter/wouldrather肯定句:hadbetter/wouldratherdosth.否定句:hadbetter/wouldrathernotdosth.疑问句:Hadsb.betterdosth.?/Wouldsb.ratherdosth.?7.祈使句回答——willIwillIwon’t例:Pleasecleanyourchimneynextyear.Ok,Iwill.Don’teattoomuchnextyeat.Ok,Iwon’t.8.表示指责——can’t/shouldn’t/oughtnotto/mustn’t温柔建议:can’t;shouldn’t;oughtnotto;强烈禁止:mustn’t,表示危险情形时,必须用mustn’t。【课堂小练】Ⅰ.Choosethebestanswer(选择)1.MayIstopmycarhere?No,you.A.can't
