ofmedicine.FollowingtheAmericanRevolution,theColumbiamedicalfaculty

In1893theJohnsHopkinsMedicalSchoolrequiredallapplicantstohave

acollegedegreeandwasthefirsttoafforditsstudentstheopportunity

tofurthertheirtraininginanattachedteachinghospital.Thegrowthof

medicalschoolsattachedwithestablishedinstitutionsoflearningwent
